“I honestly cannot rate my stay at Papageno Resort in Kadavu highly enough. As a backpacker on a budget, staying here was a very special treat for me, and it exceeded every expectation.
Every single member of the staff, without exception, was incredibly friendly, caring, and genuinely focused on making sure I had the best possible experience. Their warmth and kindness made such a difference, and I truly felt welcomed throughout my stay.

“Stayed a week in the Frangipani rooms. Rooms were basic but sufficient for our needs. Outdoor shower was welcome and there was always hot water. The rooms weren't cleaned although we never requested this. Food served at lunch consisted mainly of burgers and wraps and these were tasty. There were usually 4/5 dinner options from daal soup to fish and steak dishes and these were enjoyed by the group. The free breakfast is simple consisting of cereal, bread and jam. “We decided to check out Likuri Island on our first trip to Fiji. We only planned on one night, and were very glad it wasn’t longer. The place isn’t the most convenient to access, requiring a jetty (not included in the cost of stay). Once you’re there, be prepared, it’s pretty rustic. It’s got basics for food and drinks.
