Very comfortable

The cottage was larger than we expected and very well equipped. Ann and Angus were very helpful. Our stay at River View Cottage was very enjoyable.

The cottage was very clean, very comfortable, and very well appointed. It was immaculately presented, ideally situated to explore Lewis and North Harris and had everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay.

Ideal cottage

Lovely cottage in perfect location. We had everything we needed to add to our enjoyment of our short stay in Lewis. Owner has provided well thought out and comfortable accommodation. Highly recommended.

Fantastic Cottage.

The most beautiful cottage. Not only immaculate but hosts attention to detail for guests was outstanding. Best rental I have ever used and will do again often.

Beautiful cottage in the peace of the countryside

This lovely and very nicely modernized cottage exceeded my expectations. It was a quiet and peaceful place which had all the amenities i needed. The kitchen and bathroom are beautiful, beds very comfortable and the property very attractive- i could easily live here

Perfect Retreat

The property was immacuatly clean and welcoming. The property was also very well equipped and we had everything we needed and more. It was in a very good location for discovering the island from the north down to the southern end and it was all stunning with lovely beaches and wild places to discover.

Very charming, cozy, spacious cottage with new kitchen and bathroom. Fantastic shower. The beds had electric warmers to preheat them before bedtime. The location is perfect for quickly accessing all the historic sites.

Terrific stay

We have enjoyed just over a week’s stay in this cottage and it is perfect in every way. Spotless, comfortable, fabulous views, superb shower and great kitchen. Ideally located for sight-seeing and we were lucky enough to enjoy decent weather. Ann is friendly and accommodating and we will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Cottage review

This cottage is centrally located to visit Lewis. The host was available at all times and there was an informative book at the property. It is fully stocked and has all the amenities you could want. We stayed a week and ate most meals there. If I was to return I would stay there again.

Fabulous stay

Our stay at this fabulous cottage was fantastic. The property was spotless on arrival and there was everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The location meant that access to Lewis and Harris were easy and what a great view. It’s clear a lot of thought and care has been given by the owners to ensure a great stay. Thanks for a great few days. We need to stay longer the next time.

Fantastic Cottage in Great Location

Ann was great host, checking in to ensure all was in order and offer assistance if needed. The cottage was clean and beautifully appointed. Would definitely stay again. Great location to some of the best sites to visit. Only issue was google maps (which Ann informed me about) not recognising the address correctly, but then I just used Breasclete Community Centre and was accurate every time.
