We had an amazing stay! This house is wonderful for accommodating a good sized group! The kitchen is well appointed, beds are comfortable, towels are plentiful, lounge space is ample both inside and outside! The yard is great for playing games and slopes gently to the dock. Dock is huge, great entertaining spaces outside, and the lights at night are lovely! It was frigid during our stay over New Year, so our outdoor enjoyment was limited, but we can’t wait to return for lake fun in the summer! The lake is drained during this season, so don’t expect water in the winter. We knew this already, and it did not hinder our trip.If you plan to use the hot tub in extra cold weather, make sure it is heated ahead of time. This is a fantastic family getaway!

House was nice but there was no lake. It wasn’t until our arrival after emailing the host that it was disclosed the lake was drained by the utility company. WARNING lakes is non existent during certain months (our stay was in December)! Please do your research before booking. The entire purpose of staying at a lake house is the lake.

We had a very nice relaxing time at our rental. I clean houses for a living so I thought the property should have been a lot cleaner inside and out. The constuction workers in the neighborhood was a bit annoying.

We had a wonderful weekend! There really is nothing negative to say. The location is gorgeous and peaceful and the house was so perfect. The snacks and s’mores and all the extras really put the experience above and beyond. Highly recommend.

Definitely the most well stocked VRBO I have ever stayed in! The hosts wrote a hand written note, left snacks and drinks, and had every toiletry item and kitchen tool you could think of! There was even a curler, straightener, and hair blow dryer! Very impressed by their thoughtfulness and attention to detail. We really enjoyed hanging out outside and watching the games. Would absolutely recommend this place!

We have had the best week here. The house was so well stocked. I was amazed at all the extras the hosts provided for us. From hair dryers, to laundry detergent, to garbage bags, to snacks. The outdoor area was perfect for cooking and relaxing. The boat dock was so easy to use and swim from. They also had a ton of water toys and floats that we were able to use. This place was great and we will be back!

Great Backyard

My family and I had a great time at this house. We spent the majority of our time out back. There was everything you could think of. We couldn’t figure out how to work the gas fire pit on the porch but we were still able to build a real fire with everything provided. They even gave s’mores items. We will definitely visit this house again.

Beautiful, private Lake Martin haven

We spent a week at Bobby & Brianna’s lovely home and loved our visit. The home is well appointed with more amenities and special touches than expected. We had two teenaged girls who enjoyed paddle boarding in the cove and River North Marina made renting a boat super convenient. The guidebook provided was great and although we are repeat Lake Martin guests, we learned a new place in Alex City. Thank you!

Wonderful home!

The property was beautiful and decorated perfect! The owners and manager thought of everything when it comes to outfitting the house. Very impressed with the amenities for a vacation rental. One thing I would recommend is a guest book with info for local events/activities/house overview and a signing record of all the previous guests. I would highly recommend the property!

Beautiful Home

Beautiful quiet home on cove! The hospitality was amazing! They had us fire wood, things to make s’mores and the best coffee to ground and make expresso! It was fabulous! We really enjoyed the outdoor space even while it was raining. The owners made sure that the babies had what they needed. The wood burning fireplace was so nice and relaxing. They even brought propane for the outdoor heaters to make sure every thing was perfect. The black stone made the best steaks. I highly recommend.
