The best Hotel in Depok and Jakarta for us.
The best Hotel in Depok and Jakarta. We had a family meeting @ my uncle's Vila in Pondok Indah. When we traveled from Germany to Jakarta, we always booked this nice hotel. From the staffs, lobby, design, our suite, clean bathroom, breakfast, door security etc. the clean and modern designed Hotel is my favorite one in Jakarta. We were in Pullman Hotel near the CGN Airport, Sheraton, Double tree, Ciputra hotel near the Airport, popp hotel, Mercure etc but the Margo is the best! Would book this hotel again. Santika hotel is the worst in Depok.

部屋は清潔で快適。朝食ビュッフェは品数多くスタッフの対応も良好。マルゴシティというショッピングモールが隣接しており、買い物や食事に非常に便利。ホテル直結の回廊で雨に濡れずに行くことができる。 不満な点は次の2点。 (1)ジム・プールが19時でしまってしまうこと (2)シャワールームの排水が詰まりがち なお徒歩10分程度のところにインドネシア国立大学があり、キャンバスが皇居程度の大きさの公園で、散歩やジョギングに利用できる。

Great stay
The Margo is the only hotel in Depok where I've stayed, and I have no reason to try anywhere else. Plenty of choices for breakfast, convenient to shopping at Margo City ... there's plenty to like and nothing to dislike.

Comfy and delicious Hotel
Its a great hotel with a veyr good vicinity and good food.The room is clean and comfy, the service is fast. The price is affordable. We love being there and definetly will stay there if we visit Depok again.

The staff were very friendly. Got the required smokers bedroom without any problem. The Bathroom could have been cleaner, espcially the shower curtain was moldy!! This needs to be changed or proofed! Otherwise everything was good and might consider coming back upon next visit to Jakarta.

Es gab in dem Zimmer in der 17. Etage ein ständiges, nervendes Geräusch, welches sich wie Flugzeuglärm anhörte, jedoch offen vom fehlerhaften Lüftungssystem stammte. Des Weiteren entstand ein unangenehmer Geruch sobald die AC eine Weile aus geschaltet war. Offenbar hat das Gebäude erhebliche Mängel bei der technischen Gebäude Ausstattung, was die Aufenthaltsqualität sehr absenkt.

Terrible service, no amenities
Not good at all. No coffee, no tissue, broken air conditioner, telephone dead, not working. No ice available, breakfast was very expensive, and overpriced local food. This same food is available for less than rp 20,000 at warteg, but I think tourists from other country do not know about prices here. Hotel stopped offering many conveniences that it had only 6 months ago to save money, sinking to a cheap place.

It was a short stay but I extended by an extra day due to location (2 big and very nice malls as well as one of the most comfortable bed and pillow combinations ever.

Great Hotel which need Some Human Touch
The Facilities are Great, Spacious Rooms, Great Lobby. Breakfast is great with so many variety. The Margo City Mall is just side by side with the hotel. Near crowd center, Pondok Cina Train Station, and University of Indonesia. There are some notes though, - The Air Conditioner was not cold enough during midnight (or maybe it just my feeling) - WiFi Service is quite slow during the night (too many occupant?) - The Laundry service return the laundry exceeded the time given for a few time. At the end, i have missed one of the laundry and just realized when I got home. - The Front Desk seems confused when I asked for the Hotel Bill attachment (Rooms Service, Laundry) to be bought. Funny, I never have encounter this kind of problem before. Luckily, there are 2 (two) Personel which is eager to helping Me solve the Problem, - Thanks to Ms. Wulan from Front Desk, which scan all of my bill attachment and sent it via email. It helps me a lot to finish the Business Trip Administration in My Company. - Thank to Ms. Maryati from Laundry Division, which sent my lost Laundry Items directly to My Home, especially without charge. I really appreciate their help and cooperation so much and i hope the Margo Management can appreciate them well in a proper way. At the end, I recommend The Margo Hotel Management to improve the skill and service quality of Front Desk and Laundry Division to give an excellent experience for the future guest overcome.

Inflexible Hotel Policy
First stay in this hotel. Arrived at hotel 1000hrs in the morning. Politely asked for an early check in, such that I can freshen up before heading out for my meetings. Reception staff was kind enough to check and found rooms were readily availbale. But hotel policy insists on a check in time of 1400hrs and in my particular situation, a 50% rack rate surcharge for the 'early' check in. Fortunately I had peers already checked into the hotel whom I can deposit my bags with, before returning in the evening to check in again. Fantastic rooms. Wonderful service staff. Convenient Location. Might be a good idea for management to review certain hotel policies. ps. Will gladly pay the addidtional surcharge had I arrive like 0600hrs and can do with 2 hours of sleep with a shower to start the day.
