Bienvenido a Villa Biba, nuestra villa de dos pisos en la playa Jambiani, Zanzíbar. La casa está ubicada en la primera fila de la hermosa playa de arena blanca y coral. Esta es una espaciosa villa moderna, construida en el estilo tradicional de Zanzíbar. La casa tiene cinco habitaciones con capacidad para hasta 12 personas. Todas las habitaciones están conectadas a baños de estilo árabe.

La gran sala de estar en la planta superior tiene una terraza con vistas al mar, donde se puede disfrutar de la brisa fresca de la noche y el paisaje del Océano Índico. El salón tiene un televisor y un reproductor de DVD. Dos de las habitaciones de arriba dan al mar y tienen balcones donde se puede disfrutar del amanecer.

En la planta baja hay dos dormitorios, una cocina africana y un gran comedor con salida a un patio, que ofrece sombra durante el día y comedores al aire libre con una fantástica vista al mar. El jardín, que tiene acceso directo a la playa, incluye dos sombrillas locales con cuatro hamacas.

La cocina africana ofrece al chef local la posibilidad de preparar platos al estilo africano. Si lo desea, puede ayudar en la compra de alimentos, uniéndose al personal cuando compran el pescado fresco de los pescadores en la playa cuando regresan a la costa temprano en la mañana.

La vida en la playa, la natación y los deportes acuáticos divertidos son fácilmente accesibles. Hay un moderno kayak que pertenece a la casa, disponible de forma gratuita a su conveniencia.
Nuestro pescador local puede llevarlo a la barrera de arrecifes donde puede practicar snorkel.
Se pueden alquilar equipos de kitesurf, windsurf y snorkel en el pueblo, o en el pueblo vecino, Paje. También se pueden organizar cursos para principiantes, kite y surf avanzado, así como cursos de buceo, a precios locales.

Such a Beautiful Place!
Just as the pictures show, the setting and the house were beautiful. There was AC in the bedrooms, which was helpful at night. There was a minor issue with hot water at times, but mostly it worked, and the staff helped keep it running. In fact, the staff were quite helpful. They cooked us delicious meals for breakfast and lunch, which we ate on the covered patio. They were also helpful in arranging snorkeling, which included the gear. The dhows were so much fun! The water was beautiful, and the snorkeling was great.

The house on the beach
We loved this stay! We liked that the villagers lived nearby, and just a few tourists around. It was a quiet and peaceful holiday. Fantastic service oriented staff: Decorated beds and cleaning every day! A driver and guide associated with the house that was available all the time! Chef who prepared exactly the food we asked for, and fresh fruit and juice every day. Exciting seaweed production right on the outside at low tide, and turquoise seas at high tide. Fishermen and women at the beach at sunrise. Children playing football and fishing at beach. And a very nice norwegian owner!

Amazing Stay !!!
Our 7 day stay at Villa Biba was outstanding. The location was great, steps from the Indian Ocean and various restaurants and bars within minutes from the house. The entire staff from Kiru and Hassan were always so cheerful and willing to go that extra mile to make our stay memorable. We will definitely be back!

Stay in Villa Biba
Wonderful stay in villa Biba. All members of staff were very kind to us including Hassan, our private driver and guide. We also enjoyed the meals prepared by Mao, the cook (a lot of different types of fishes and delicious vegetables, an the breakfast was always nice). We were 4 and each of us enjoyed a single room with private bathroom. The house is quiet and there is a security guy during the night. Also, you can find different restaurants around the house. The only negative point could be the presence of local women and their kids staying exactly in front of the house between 4 and 6pm so was difficult to stay outside to read or rest because they were speaking very loud and kids crying … but since it was only at the end of the day, it was not too annoying! Otherwise, wonderful stay! Many thanks.

Amazing value in Jambiani
We really enjoyed our 7 nights at Villa Biba on Jambiani. The views to the beach, the lovely old home, and the friendly staff made our visit truly memorable. Though the WiFi and AC didn’t really work, we didn’t miss them. The ocean breezes through the screens made the rooms cool and we were too busy taking stunning pictures every morning on the beach to think about WiFi. We used a local SIM card instead. The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed delicious food from the kitchen. Hassan, the house driver, took us on several adventures and recommended local places. Overall we had an excellent stay and would love to visit again!

Amazing property in a truly wonderful location
This house was exactly as described and more! A wonderful Arabic design with large rooms, high ceilings, comfortable beds and furniture, Arabic bathrooms (tiled), and so many really nice features. The location right on Jambiani beach cannot be beat. We watched the large tide come and go each day, enjoying swimming when the tide was high, and the dhows and other boats, as well as the locals cultivating seaweeds, when the tides were low. The staff (manager, chef, cleaners, and driver) were all really friendly, efficient, and interested in making our visit really special. Jambiani is remote and beautiful. There are hotels and villas on the water with the community living behind, but little hustle and bustle and commercialization. Really relaxing and fun time.

Great spot for some peace and quiet!
We had a great stay at the villa for 2 weeks. It is a big house in a fabulous location right on the beach. We really enjoyed the front porch area and private garden/beach out the front with it's magnificent views. The bedrooms were all spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed. The house itself is getting a little old and could use a little TLC, curtains, sheets, lights and such, but for the price it is good value for money. We had great communication from the owner and house manager and enjoyed our stay very much!
