“The property is stunning, especially close to sunrise. There are different types of pretty birds. The inside is just as lovely as well. Clean and fancy. Kind of high tech but got the hang of it. The owner was helpful too.”

“I initially booked this stay for just the solar eclipse. What I ended up with was a relaxing vacation. Not only was the property exactly like the listing, but Lyle and Nancy were the greatest hosts anyone could've asked for. They gave us awesome recommendations for places to eat and things to do. Before I knew it our weekend was filled with more activities than I had expected or anticipated. The property itself is gorgeous. They lovingly restored the beautiful historic farmhouse. “We enjoyed our stay at This Place Rocks. The house was very nice and the view was absolutely amazing! We loved relaxing outside and spent a lot of time watching the lake and listening to the waves and the waterfall. It was only about a 15 minute drive from Presque Isle.”

“We absolutely love it here, & what a delightful surprise to find that Dave had remodeled & upgraded the one bed/one bath to two bed/two bath! It is just a gorgeous space, perfect for us. We love the fire pit in the morning, to make a fire & have our coffee & tea out there by the lake. The whole experience is so good, we've already made our reservations for next year. It's one of the highlights of our year!”
