It’s not only comfortable, with a wonderful dining room/hang out area, solar room, private bathrooms, hot showers (!!!) and delicious food—best veggie burger I’ve ever had, savory Sherpa stew and divine apple pie—but it’s a place you want to stay for two...

“Beautiful, old hotel/lodge with character. All was clean, warm and cozy. Staff were friendly and helpful. And...great location/views of the Lukla Airstrip i.e. just above it.”

“Honestly the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. No heating (-5C and you could see your breath in room). No hot water. Food choice dire (pizza or spring rolls). Owner very rude. Checked out early. To top it off owner chased me across the apron as I was boarding my flight to accuse me of leaving without paying! (I’d paid in full on booking through here). Avoid!”
