  • Lakeside Cloud 9 is a very spacious five-bedroom, three-bath, three-level mountain home, beautifully furnished with knotty pine paneling throughout, managed by Mountain Home Rentals of Georgia. This is your perfect getaway to enjoy the great outdoors. Find sanctuary in the charm of this home, whether sitting in the family room, relaxing in the bath, or sipping wine by the fireplace. You’ll feel truly at home and at peace during your quiet retreat to Big Canoe.

    Living Space
    The house has a flat entrance with no steps, making it handicap accessible, and offers parking for four cars. The main floor features a large living room with a flat-screen TV and fireplace, a master bedroom with a king bed and master bathroom with a tub/shower combination, an open dining room, and a fully furnished kitchen.

    Beds & Bathrooms
    Upstairs, you’ll find a bedroom with two twin beds and a bedroom with a queen bed, a large Jack and Jill bath, and a loft area great for kids or quiet reading. The downstairs level includes a bedroom with a queen bed, a resting room with a queen bed and bunk beds, a large Jack and Jill bath, and a sizable recreation room with a flat-screen TV and fireplace.

    Outdoor Amenities
    The house features upstairs and downstairs decks with a gas grill and plenty of lounge chairs to enjoy the fantastic Lake Sconti and mountain views.

Golf Trip

Perfect house for a golf trip to Big Canoe. Lots of beds, great grill, close to golf course. Have stayed here before and will be back.

calm and peaceful stay

A wonderful place to unwind and relax, surrounded by nature. Tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished house. Excellent for 2-3 families to stay and connect. Had a great time boating and fishing on the lake nearby.

Fun forced family time!

This was a perfect house for our short Fathers Day weekend trip. The men loved golfing, and all the kids (young and old) had a blast at the Beach Club. We will be back!

Ladies Fall Retreat

We have rented this home several times and we love the space! It sleeps more than most of the homes in the area and it's always such a comfortable stay with lots of room and such a beautiful view! The rental agency is so accommodating to every need and a joy to work with!

Very spacious

My best friends and I came just for a quick getaway to relax and catch up.we had an issue with the toilet and air once we arrived but I loved the fact that the host quickly responded and someone came out. The man was very nice and friendly. We enjoyed the pool, paddle boarding and beach while there. The overall stay was amazing.

Beautiful Home

This home was the perfect choice. Everything was spotless, the view is beautiful and everything worked. Nothing bad to say about this place. We will absolutely save this home in our favorites.

Brought 8 guys on a golf trip. Perfect home. Large, clean and close to the golf course. Couldn't have enjoyed it more!

We really enjoyed our stay this weekend. We had 3 families and had a lot of room for all. Lynn was great to work with and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Thank you Lynn for helping to make our son's wedding weekend so great!

Spectacular.

More than we could have asked for. Neat as a pin and spotless. Beds were very comfortable. Very roomy and would be great for a family reunion. It rained almost the entire time we were there, but that was ok. We had dinner at the Black Bear Pub, and it was exceptional. Very relaxed and good food and drink. We only had a short stay but would come back for the trails and waterfalls next time.

Lakeside Cloud 9 weekend

This a beautiful home on a quiet street with a view of the lake. The home is spacious with high ceilings and lots of charm. Everything is there for you, laundry, appliances, lots of T.V.'s, you just need to bring groceries! So quiet, comfy beds, all and all, a great home to rent.

Oh So Relaxing!!

My family and my parents stayed in a cabin for a weekend. The trip was for my dad and I to hike the AT Approach Trail and some of the AT. I wanted a place with room for everyone that stayed back while we were out. This place was that and more! It is a huge house with 3 levels. So much space for everyone and more! The view is incredible and it is so easy to communicate to the resort via text. As we were packing up, we were ready to book again! We will definitely be back!

Nice Time Together

We had a real nice time together here at this house it was 4 Married couples … we stayed 3 days and enjoyed it, The only issues I had was that the home really needed to be dusted and cleaned upon arrival…Honestly the house looks good ,but the house better cleaning outside and inside . But we thought the size was good and the location was ok .. Mis Debra was really a help with getting in the houses or with any question I had ..

Beautiful lake view home.

The home is very comfortable and beautifully furnished and decorated. It really captures the lake cabin feeling in a very spacious home. Neighbors are close on either side but you hardly know it. The place is very peaceful and quiet. Our gathering of family here was to attend a memorial service for the loss of my daughter. It was so helpful to have such a peaceful and beautiful place to return to after the service. The children loved the house as well and enjoyed all of the teddy bears.

Comfy winter week

Large open main floor with gas fire. Extra TVs in upper and lower sitting areas. Twin beds are in loft open to main floor. In December, upper bed and bathroom were cool. Plenty of towels and kitchen gear. Beds were made up and guest soaps gave a convenient start.

Starting the New Year In the Mountains

Our over all impression of the property was very good. We have rented several properties in Big Canoe and Blue Ridge. All have their unique personalities. Loved the quaintness and over all feel of Cloud Nine. This was the first time renting from this particular company, so a little different. My only recommendation would be a better stocked kitchen and more attention paid to the cleanliness of the kitchen. A small problem with the fireplace, but was handled quickly and professionally.

Wedding

The property was ideal for our group. Lots of winding roads to traverse to get to the property. Downstairs bathtub/shower didn’t drain well so you ended up standing in water while tsking a shower. Hot water heater couldn’t keep up with ten people.

Perfect Vacation Stay

Loved the rental and location! We didn’t really even have to leave Big Canoe except to go to the grocery store. Only thing I wish is that the property could have provided more necessities such as hand soap; dish washing soap; laundry detergent (we were supposed to start a load of towels before leaving but nothing to wash with?); trash bags; aluminum foil; salt&pepper Just little items that would’ve made the stay that much better. Doesn’t cost a lot but it means a lot.

Better than the pics!!!

Went with my family of 11 ranging in ages 8-56 and everyone had a great time. The house is way bigger and nicer than the pictures show. It has three living rooms, one on each of the three floors. The bottom floor has two rooms, one bathroom, and an outdoor patio. Middle floor has the kitchen, a master room with its bathroom, and another patio. The top floor has two rooms and one bathroom. Great location within the Big Canoe community. Right next to the rec center, a minute or two from the clubhouse, and right across the lake with those lake views directly seen from anywhere in the house. Overall, amazing experience. Highly recommend!

Great family home!

We had 3 generations staying from age 17-83. Plenty of space for all. Beds were very comfortable. Plenty of towels. Bring hangers if you plan to hang clothes up. Kitchen had all that we needed. The large windows in the living room provide a beautiful view of lake. We enjoyed the fireplace also. Home looks exactly like the pictures provided. Town of Jasper is 15 minutes away with restaurants and shops. Don’t miss the winery…. Cairn View Winery. It’s close by and beautiful. Big Canoe is huge. Lots of activities. We’ll plan another visit in the summer.

Black mold and many maintenance issues ruined our stay!

The house had numerous issues from a driveway hazard that was reported but not attended to, black mold on the baseboard in the bedroom intended for children, the gas fireplace did not work, the basement windows were full of spider webs so you didn’t want to be downstairs. Multiple roaches found inside the home. We have stayed many times in Big Canoe but this house was the most disappointing but shouldn’t have been the best. Definitely would not stay in this property again!

Family Weekend

The names of all family member that was submitted several days were not on the list when we checked in. We could get into the rental at 4 but at 5:15 when we started arriving I was told they were still entering names of the individuals staying at the house. Those not on the list would be turned away at the gate. Linens could definitely be upgraded The only thermostat was in the main level bedroom. The bedroom in the basement on the left side of the stairs was very hot and uncomfortable to sleep. The bedroom on the right side of the staircase in the basement was cold.
