If you are having a family reunion, family vacation, golfing retreat, company retreat, romantic getaway or honeymoon the Boyd Villa will meet your needs. Come watch the sunrise over Lake Petit from this extraordinary, 7000 square foot luxury lakefront home. Fabulous views of the lake from two huge wrap-around decks and most rooms. A short 20 minute drive to the new world renowned Gibbs Gardens

    Exquisitely furnished with two great rooms each with large fieldstone gas fireplace, two fully-equipped kitchens - the main kitchen features Viking appliances and Sub Zero Refrigerator - top of the line appliances through-out + wet bar with icemaker and mini-refrigerator. Two washer/dryers, two master suites, (one with his and her bath, walk-through steam shower, and Bain Ultra Air Jet Tub), six bedrooms (includes three kings, two queens, four twins + 2 trundles & 1 full futon, seven full and 2 half baths (includes two whirlpool and 1 airjet). Close to all amenities. Rent a canoe or pontoon boat at the nearby marina or swim lake.

    Beautiful Big Canoe is a spectacular gated golf and tennis community just 1 hour north of Atlanta, nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Georgia. Amenities include a 27 hole championship golf course, ten tennis courts (indoor and outdoor), new fitness center featuring: indoor pool, racquetball, exercise equipment, aerobics, snack bar and professional health services including: facials, massages, pedicures and more.

    Our swim club includes: a swim lake with sandy beach, pool, waterfall rock slide, canoes, paddle boats and beach volleyball. We have three lakes for quiet boating (no gas motors), fishing and swimming. Hiking and jeep trails with picturesque waterfalls. A play field for basketball, baseball, soccer, walking and playground. Great restaurants and catering. Close to antique shopping, outlet mall, site-seeing, river rafting, speed boating, horseback riding, and so much more.

This home was absolutely amazing. The home met all of our needs & was great for gathering all together while having our own space also. The kitchen was beyond stocked & the appliances were a joy to use. The views were gorgeous from every window & deck area. Beverly the host was so kind and thoughtful to make sure our stay was the best!

Incredible home with plenty of room to spread out. Located close to the lake, fitness center and lake/pool swimming complex. Home very well furnished and the owner was so easy to work with. Plenty of parking.

Always a great time at the Boyd Villa!

This was our family’s third stay in the Boyd Villa on Lake Petit in Big Canoe. Everyone is friendly and there are such great amenities. We also enjoy our family meals made in the kitchen. There is also plenty of space for the teens as well as the adults. Thanks again to Beverly for being such a great host.

Large beautiful home and comfortable beds! Property owner was very friendly. Just remember you’re in the mountains so there’s wildlife and bugs everywhere. The view of a deer strolling down the driveway while we were making dinner and a black bear through the trees as we were driving to the pool was an exciting surprise!

Simply the most perfect spot for our family’s gathering!

Weather was rainy and cold yet our stay was not dampened! With the spacious property and warm fireplace we were comfortable and cozy. Truly a beautiful home, not just a rental.

Our family of 16, including 8 adults and 8 grandkids 8 yrs old and under had a terrific time at the Boyd Villa. The owner was helpful in every aspect of our trip and communicated with us very well. We’d definitely stay here again.

Great accommodations for our family with lots of space & a great floor plan - beautiful lake view

Kids loved the large water slide at the Big Canoe pool(located close to the house), the guys loved the golf course & ladies loved just hanging out & relaxing at this beautiful house Plenty of seating for everyone, great basement with pool table, two terraces with grills - a great getaway-
