Finding a place large enough to accommodate our extended family is difficult, but this cabin fit the bill. We enjoyed the privacy of individual bedrooms and the open living area where we could gather. It was located close to town but was private. Our hosts, Ryan and Kara were very quick to respond when we had a question. Would definitely stay there again.

Float Trip

We booked this cabin for our group and planned to hike and float the Buffalo River. Floating didn't work out because of the rainy weather, but we did some great hiking and enjoyed spending time together in the cabin playing games! Great spot!

Wonderful family cabin

The cabin is great for a family get together. We loved the hot tub and the outdoor fire pit after coming in from floating the Buffalo National River. The cabin is located in a quiet place without close neighbors would we greatly appreciated. We had a wonderful time there and hope to come back again. Our hosts were very gracious in answering any questions that we had and helping us to have a wonderful vacation.

Weekend Getaway

Our weekend getaway was perfect and exactly what we all needed! The directions we had to get to the cabin took us straight there with no issues. Once we arrived, we used the code provided to enter the cabin, unloaded everything, and enjoyed the rest of our time there. The cabin was very clean and spacious. The kids and adults spent much of our time outside on the patio and down by the fire pit because the weather was so nice. It was a very short drive into town to get some groceries, which is convenient. Even with being so close to town, you still feel like you’re in the middle of the woods when you’re at the cabin. We will definitely be back!

Nice but needs better property management

The house itself was nice but I would not stay here or any of the other cabins again unless it was under a different management. We travel to Jasper 1-2 times a year. We have stayed at many short-term rentals and have friends that own short-term rentals. The house holds 14 people. We had 8 people (2 families) staying for 4 nights, 5 days. The check-in process was exhaustive. Regarding cleanliness, most of the house was pretty clean with the exception of a few ceiling fans caked with dust and many windows throughout the house filled with dead lady bugs. The towels in the house were lacking. Very thin/small and not enough for 14 people to use more than a day with showering and hot tub usage. I didn't mind washing the towels, however when I went to wash all the towels after a day and a half of being there I discovered that we were only give 2 laundry pods. I messaged the property manager to see if they could give us a couple of more laundry pods. I was told that they had "a limited supply of laundry pods available. For additional pods, you're welcome to pick some up at the Dollar General...". I couldn't believe for what we were paying to stay there that they couldn't drop off a few laundry pods that cost them maybe a few dollars or leave more than that to begin with. They have at least 5 cabins on this property that they have to restock. Clearly, guest's convenience and comfort is not one of their priorities.

Zero star recommendation

Messaged at 9am before we went to see if the area would be plowed of snow, was told he would get back with me after he talked to his maintenance crew. 12:30 still no reply. We had AWD and still couldn’t get in the driveway since it wasn’t salted or plowed and would’ve had to get towed out. The steps on the deck were also snow/ice covered. We waited in a gas station parking lot and talked to the phone service. She said we could leave our vehicle at the gas station and still stay at the cabin . We said not happening and asked if they could just keep the money and we could just book again in the spring. That wasn’t possible they said and would not refund anything. Best they could do was to get maintenance there the next morning to salt and plow everything with nowhere for us to park that night but in the gas station parking lot that closed at 8pm and was not a well lit area. We came from out of state and they were “unable” to assist us so we were out the money and drove back home that same night.

Cabin Fever

We wanted to stay in a cabin as a family for my daughter’s birthday! This cabin was perfect. Super clean, great location. We enjoyed area hiking trails and bird watching from the back deck. The hot tub was a perfect relaxing way to end the day!
