“This is a beautiful home in a secluded neighborhood with access to the Potomac River. The house is about 10 minutes from all of the things you would want to do in the Harper’s Ferry Historic area. The house is furnished and decorated very nicely and the kitchen has everything you will need for preparing & serving meals. It is a very peaceful location with lots of deer and opportunities to relax. ”

“Prime location in quiet neighborhood. Had all the basics and in a pleasant surprise it had 1 1/2 baths vs the 1 in the listing. Beds were comfy and had all the basics you would need (except paaper towels). Everything was clean upon arrival. Would definitely stay again!!”

“The house is in a quiet area but very close to a lot of activities. It was an easy walk to the Bolivar Heights Battlefield site, and to other Harpers Ferry National Historical Park interest areas. Everything was well appointed. We very much enjoyed use of the hot tub. The host was very communicative. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook for ourselves. ”

“It was a great stay. No complaints! Great communication with the hosts before and during our stay. Very clean and just like the photos. The only comments not entirely positive (but worth noting because it was one of my deciding factors in booking this property) is that the hot tub was not clean enough for us to be comfortable using (it is in the woods and may have been pollen coming through the screens—but it was covered) and I think one of the queen sized mattresses does need to be replaced in...

“Great cottage with a great view and access to the Potomac River! Clean and everything we needed with plenty of room. Great area to stay visiting downtown Harper’s Ferry and Antietam. Communication with the host was the best ever! Would recommend and stay again. ”

“The outdoor spaces exceeded my expectations of the property. There is ample space on the deck, the yard is enjoable with the views and firepit, and the front porch rocking chairs are relaxing with a cup of coffee and litening to the gentle rain.Young adults enjoyed the game room. My only suggestion would be to replace mattress in 1st floor bedroom, it sinks a little. That is a small inconvenience considering that everything else was lively and the kitchen was well supplied with cooking tools.”

“Comfortable and right at the C&O trail, so easy to take lovely walks. The house is clean, the kitchen and dining spaces more than adequate, multiple common areas are nice, as are bedrooms. Minor issue in that it seems the visitors before us made the remote for the downstairs tv disappear. Connection via phone, text etc can be spotty unless you're on the houses wifi, which worked well.”
