  • Little Cottage with Big Charm. Two bedroom cottage with King Bed in one and Large Twins in one. Great kitchen for eating in or dine in one of our many wonderful local eateries. One bathroom with a shower/tub combo. Washer/dryer. Very comfortable furnishings with some antiques and local art. Outdoor patio for nice mornings or evenings. Stay in the Heart of the Historic District. Steps from everything.
    Jefferson Tx. is the 5th oldest town in Texas. Jefferson is located right on the Big Cypress River. We are only three hours from Dallas Tx. We are one hour from Shreveport La. We are four hours from Houston Tx. Nestled in the Piney Woods of East Texas.
    Jefferson was founded in the early 1840's. Once a bustling River Port town, but now a perfect destination for a weekend getaway. Jefferson has something for everyone, wonderful selection of antique and eclectic shops. The dining selections are from very fancy to very funky, all yummy. Live music on the weekends at many places. Great Historic homes, some on tour and a Great Museum. Riverboat rides,Carriage Rides and Ghost Walks, call for times and dates.
    We are about twelve miles to Caddo Lake and about 12 miles to Lake of the Pines.
    Come stay for the weekend or for the week. Make our little cottage a home base for so many great things to do in this area.

This cottage was absolutely perfect and so incredibly cozy. From the moment we walked in, it felt like stepping back into my Granny’s house…the kind of place that instantly makes you exhale and feel at home. The location could not have been better…we loved being able to walk to everything in Jefferson without ever moving the car. The cottage was spotless, thoughtfully stocked, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were truly comfortable, which made such a difference after full days of exploring. And the den…oh my goodness…the record player was such a special touch and quickly became one of our favorite spots to unwind. The whole place had warm, inviting vibes that made our stay feel extra special. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Jefferson.

So quaint, convenient and precious. Lots of wonderful decorative items, entertainment and generous touches. We would definitely recommend and stay again. Jefferson was a fun town with so much to do.

Great Cottage Getaway

The property is simply lovely with all the comforts of home. It was clean and in the prefect location in proximity to downtown Jefferson. We will certainly stay here again should we return to the area.

Perfect location

The house was located one block from all the downtown shopping so perfect location. The kitchen had plenty of coffee and a few snacks that was unexpected, but appreciated. We enjoyed the house - very well done.

Spring Break 2023

My best friend and I took a short trip to Jefferson, Tx and had the best time!! This house is in a great location for walking downtown and several restaurants close by. The beds was so comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent Property

This house was literally on the Main Street. Only a one minute walk to the car show (which we weren’t even aware was going on this weekend- pleasant surprise). Walking to everything was so convenient! It was also quiet even though so close to everything.
