We had a slight hiccup that meant we changed rooms. Zach was great, got us situated and provided needed info quick. Would stay here again and will recommend. Turned out in the end, the hiccup was my issue anyway !! Great stay !

The description didn’t match the accommodation. While it seemed like it was a cottage, it was a room off the house. The bad part is the door to the main house couldn’t be closed and locked so that made us feel uncomfortable.The smell was beyond an old house smell. I’m guessing the carpet. Oh and the sulfurous smell of the water at first was horrible. I would suggest running a lot of water before your guest arrive. In terms of working order, you should take time to make sure things work. The sink trap was broken. I had to rig it with a wash cloth to let it drain. When I touched the tp holder it fell apart. Those are easy things that could be checked and made sure in working order.The fact that we were told to keep the AC on a certain degree is fine until we determined the readout didn’t work. And what was supposed to be a relaxing evening was anything but when we were up and down all night trying to get the thing to work. Your location is great. The concept of an old cottage is great…until you find out it’s not a cottage. My suggestion is to just be honest but also ensure that room can also be secured. I may have overlooked it all until the AC didn’t work. I’d say make that your number one priority, especially with summer coming.

Amenities and location were good! Bed and room were comfortable but heat from house did not kick on until during the first night and was freezing until room heater got it warmed up. Then we were nice and toasty! Key box and leaving key there at all times was a little unusual but not a problem either. Flower beds and a few upkeep items outside looked like needed some attention, but other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it was very comfortable for the price and amenities!! Adding a lounge chair of some sort would have been nice for sitting before bed.... Thanks so much, we had a wonderful time and details were as advertised. Was easy in and out! Thanks again.

Beautiful historical house

We enjoyed our stay, however, on our downtime, we we enjoy movies or a good crime show, could not get TV to broadcast anything, just an Hour Glass then back to menu, Saturday, we tried again and i texted host, i also texted Host we need more drying towels. A shower at night and in morning left us no more towels. I texted again later that evening and still no reply. Still no reply even after we left other than him asking us to give 5 stars. I suggested better customer service..... Also, if you need to charge ur phone, good luck finding a plugin.

Not a 5 star

The picture looks great but not up to par. Ceiling fan didn’t work. The plug above the coffee area didn’t work. Air unit is loud for sleeping. Lock box is not easy to get into. For my older hands anyway. Nice snacks and coffee furnishings. Comfortable bedding. Location is good.

We had a lovely stay. The space is nicely decorated, clean, and welcoming—exactly what we were hoping for. The bathroom was spotless and well-stocked with all the essentials, which made settling in very easy and comfortable. We really appreciated the care that clearly went into making the space cozy and inviting.

Room good but Internet / TV terrible

The room was nice and overall the stay was good. I had one issue with the stay and that was the TV always buffering i had to stream my own service. It was not good and i was disappointed.

Cozy Room in a Quiet Neighborhood

We enjoyed our stay in the Bordeaux room in the main house. It was easy to find, clean, and equipped with a microwave and a refrigerator. We walked to the town square and explored various shops. Since Caddo Lake was our prime reason for coming, we drove about 30 min to be on a lake tour.
