Only 165 miles from DFW, this is a perfect getaway for couples, families, friends, the business folks or any fishermen. Not a fisherman? Not to worry! Enjoy the peaceful surroundings with beautiful sunsets, bird watching, or simply relaxing.

    The oversized kitchen opens into the family room with a floor to ceiling stone fireplace, natural light throughout, and exalted cathedral ceilings. The spacious master suite is only steps away with views from every side.

Had a lovely time at Sanders Lodge. Plenty of space inside and out to spread out, the lake is much more beautiful in person than the pictures give it credit. I wish that we could’ve stayed longer.

The home was beautiful and had amazing views from the back windows. There was plenty of room to sit and visit and play games. The only issue we had was the cleaning person did not do a great job before we arrived. Trash full, dirty and wet towels in the bedrooms and dirty sheets. The bathroom lightbulbs were out, but it all worked out with doing a load in the washer and dryer and borrowing lightbulbs from another area. The owner reached out and apologized and we went on to have a great weekend!

Relaxing and Amazing View

Loved our stay here, the fishing was amazing. The house was very spacious for our group. The communication with the host was great! We couldn't have asked for anything better! Very nice equipped kitchen was an added bonus!

Well stocked kitchen, bath & bedrooms. The home is perfect for large families. The view from the living space was spectacular. The fishing dock was a bonus & fishing poles were even available in the garage. Plenty of parking in the garage & outside. We didn’t bring pets but for those that do, will find the large outside fenced area a great place for dogs to run & play. As far as things to do in Jefferson, we all enjoyed the trolly tour. The guide was very entertaining & knowledgeable of the town history. Also, the “Gone With The Wind” museum is a must to visit.

Perfect Getaway for Our Group

As a group of female photographers (and friends), we thoroughly enjoyed this home and secluded getaway. It is convenient to Jefferson and Caddo Lake activities. The accommodations were spacious and the house offered all the amenities needed to cook and enjoy the house. The lake offered amazing views and a relaxing environment.

Wonderful House!

There were 5 couples staying at the house and there was room for everyone! There were 3 bedrooms and 1 bath upstairs and 3 bedrooms and 3 baths downstairs. Sooo much room for everyone! The back patio was plenty of room for everyone to hangout together and the kitchen was spacious for all of us to sit around and play card games. We had a blast! Rebecca was a wonderful host!

Amazing Getaway

Family, Friends, Fun, and Fishing! This property was perfect for a small family gathering. The home is beautiful and the property is amazing. It is set up well as a VBRO, easy to access and well stocked. The host was great on communincation and helpful in every way. If you need a semi-remote location in East Texas with room to spread out, this is the one!

Awesome property

My family and I absolutely enjoyed the property. The house was immaculate and all the amenities that were stated in the listing were there plus some. The lake behind the house was beautiful and we caught many fish. The gated area in front of the house was perfect for my daughters pugs. Next time we go to Jefferson, we will definitely try and stay one night here again.

Memorial Day weekend at the lodge

Wonderful home, beautiful view, fantastic weekend. Roughly 15 min from Jefferson and Marshall. Very secluded and peaceful. We caught bass, crappie, and brim off the dock. Rebecca the host was very responsive and helpful. We plan on visiting again, thank you!
