“Great rental. Location is safe and secure. Central Mt.Washington and walkable to downtown and restaurants. Farmer market on the weekends was 2 blocks away and great. Awesome hosts and fast communication. Cant get much better for a Vrbo rental. Open floor plan wokred for me as a solo traveler. 30 days mid/late summer stay. ”

“The Captain’s Cabin was charming, beautifully decorated, and VERY comfy! Jan and Tammy certainly went above and beyond with communication and treats including Christmas cookies! Our stay was just an overnight so we did not get a chance to appreciate the outdoor activities that the cabin grounds allowed (lake, stream, canoeing)…. Maybe we need a return trip?We would highly recommend the Captain’s Cabin. Beautifully maintained, very clean, well appointed, and it is just like sleeping in a movie...

“We had a great stay! So much action a block away from this property. Great restaurants, coffee shops, breweries within walking distance. But also very walkable residential neighborhood with beautiful homes, parks and a really historic cemetery nearby (Muhammad Ali and Colonel Sanders). This is an old home that has been nicely remodeled with all the amenities you would need. Extremely clean property with nice design style inside.”

“My partner and I hoped for a peaceful getaway to hike and chose this place. As soon as we drove in, it seemed like nothing we’d quite seen. It’s walled like a park with an expansive front yard area, but it’s private. There are really cute old buildings. It was like we had the place to ourselves.
