This property was simply lovely and pristine . The beds were comfy, linens soft and comfortable, plenty of soft, large towels. Kitchen had absolutely everything we needed including pet bowls for the pups. The yard was inviting and well tended. Excellent location. We could not have asked for more. Thank you for being a part of a wonderful vacation.

The property was absolutely gorgeous. We only got to stay 3 nights, but we had so much fun and were very comfortable. Driftwood beach was only three minutes up the road and was a fantastic place to visit

Place is very immaculate. We did not cook nut the kitchen seems well stocked. We did a lot of sightseeing, and this place was perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. We will be coming back.

We enjoyed our stay. Everything was nice and clean, up-to-date appliances, plenty of towels so you don’t have to bring none. They even have beach towels there for you. It is in a very nice quiet neighborhood. Would love to come back again someday.

Overall it was very inviting, clean and a beautiful place to spend a relaxing vacation. I did find trash and clothing under two of the beds that I was not expecting and the floors could have been cleaned better but I believe the cleaning company was behind that day and trying to hurry. We were not able to enter the property until 20-30 mins after check in time because of this but at NO fault to the host. The backyard was perfect for us and our dogs to run around and relax. I love the little details in the home. There was even a record player, LP's and games if you're stuck inside on a rainy day. The home was located about a 5 min drive to the closes beach that was dog friendly. The host was friendly and answered all questions promptly. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly and you could safely ride the bikes in the neighborhood or to the beach that the host provides at the home. I would highly recommend this area and this host for your stay at Jekyll Island. We would absolutely stay here again.

Weekend getaway

Quiet neighborhood, clean and inviting property just under half a mile from the beach access and not much further to a couple restaurants. The fenced in backyard was perfect for our two dogs. We credit our enjoyable weekend largely to this VRBO.

Jekyll Vacation

We enjoyed our stay at Sail Away. The property was clean. Check in was easy. The owner is responsive and answered all of our questions. It is in a good location near beaches. Everything was as promised. I will definitely consider this location for my next stay at Jekyll Island.

Loved Jekyl Island and the duplex was perfect!

We loved the location and very pleased with the space. Our first time to stay on Jekyl rather than SSI, and no regrets! We had planned to rent bikes - were pleasantly surprised there were 3 bikes on property for our use. Loved seeing the deer and bunnies; Tortuga Jacks, Driftwood Beach and The turtle Center. Great getaway for our family.

Duplex rental

Loved the place. Plenty of room, awesome job on the renovations. Be careful with your small furrbies as they can slip thru the fence bars. It was a very short drive to restaurants and the beach. The only thing i did not like is that it was a duplex and the guest on other side complained about our dog barking. But in all its an awesome place. Very comfortable.

Sail Away

Sail away was the perfect house for our short getaway! The house was clean and comfortable while providing everything we needed. We enjoyed the fenced in back yard for our dog and the space was perfect for our family! We would recommend this to anyone wanting a quaint house on Jekyll!

Relaxing getaway

Cozy home in n great location

The house was as pictured and just perfect for our family Christmas gathering. It is a duplex with a shared wall, so we were mindful of our noise level. We liked the themed decor and furnishings. The kitchen was equipped with all the items we could possibly need. The fenced backyard and doggy water bowls were added bonuses for our pets staying with us. Great outdoor seating too! The location was a short walk to the beach and minutes away from anything on the island. Communication with the hosts was fabulous. We would stay again!
