Cute condo

The condo was great, nicely decorated and clean had everything we needed, great that we could bring our dog, Hazel. Close to the beach but the closest pier to get to the beach was closed due to the hurricane so only a short walk to driftwood beach. Over all a great place to stay, definitely would recommend.

Excellent Pet-friendly Villa

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The villa was exactly as described. It was well-equipped and one of the closest villas to the beach access boardwalk. Very clean and beautifully decorated.

Southern style sea and sand

We enjoyed our week on Jekyll Island. Villas by the Sea ia a unique property, where Southern low county meets the sun and sandy beaches.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was fine. Could not use the patio because the screen sliding door was broken and couldn't get out.

We could not have asked for a better location to the beach! The villa was clean and well updated. Very convenient in all aspects.

First time to the island

Everything was good. Only issues that we could have fix if we read details more ,we are big coffee drinkers so we had to buy extra filters as not enough for our consumption - we also shower every day after the beach and neglected to bring extra shampoo and conditioner and soap and the ones supplied were not enough.

Great Getaway

Condo was perfect size for our needs. We’ve been coming to Jekyll for about 30 years and typically stay at Villas. This was the first time we stayed in a one-bedroom and this unit was fab. Had everything we needed (including good space for our dog/crate) and was tastefully decorated. Definitely would return here again.

Jekyll Getaway

The condo at Jekyll Island was perfect for the two of us! We enjoyed sitting outside on the little patio and hearing the surf as we sipped our coffee. We had a great time exploring and taking long walks on the beach. We even rented bikes and biked all the way around the island! The Bistro right in the complex was a fun and convenient night out! We had a great time and would love to return!

VBRO Failed on This One

The dishes and flatware (in the cabinets and drawers) were dirty. No surprise because the dishwasher does not work. We hand washed the dishes we used, but had to use bath towels to dry them because there were no dish towels...and the stopper for the sink was broken. What kitchen does not have a disposal? This one. The back patio had construction trash laying about. The bathroom sink was dirty, the toilet paper dispenser rusty and the shower curtain badly stained. The bed hit its prime 30 years ago and the mattress was hard as a rock. Plus we were charged a pet fee and we did not have a pet. I thought I was getting peace of mind with VRBO, but just got a grossly overpriced unit. All in, with the barrage of fees this was twice the published rate. I will not be using VRBO in the future. I'll take my chances by contacting a local real estate agent. I took some photos if you would like to see them. (I didn't take a lot because I was trying to enjoy a vacation and not dwell on how I got ripped off)
