Private oasis just outside NYC

Located in the Bergen-Lafayette neighborhood, just outside of Downtown Jersey City. Three blocks from the light-rail station (LSP) and 15 minutes from the World Trade Center, New York City.

This is the ground floor apartment of a private house. It has a private entertainment backyard with covered dining deck with grill. One master bedroom and a second bedroom, both with queen-sized beds, a large bathroom, eat-in kitchen and a large living room with a sofa bed and space for 2 additional cots that will be available upon request, when more that 6 people are renting the apartment. The space is ideal for two couples with kids or a large family.

The host is generally available by phone or text. The host or a representative will meet the guests at check-in and check-out.

The Bergen-Lafayette section of Jersey City is just outside of Downtown Jersey City, but still reachable by foot or bike, Bergen-Lafayette is the oldest neighborhood in Jersey City. This area is being rediscovered by artists, young professionals and long time Jersey City residents alike for its lower cost, proximity to mass transit and historic fabric.

Easy access to NYC via the light rail station, path train or ferry. Liberty state Park is within 5 minutes-walk, where Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island and Manhattan Ferries are available. The Liberty Science Center, The Liberty House Restaurant with a NYC skyline view and Marina are also located at the Park. Uber or Lift car services are usually $30-40 and 15 minutes to downtown Manhattan.
No smoking inside the house but smoking in the deck and backyard are permitted.

No excessive noise or music after 9pm. Permanent residents live at the property and this is a residential neighborhood.

Unlike hotels, we do not provide a daily maid service, hence, taking out the garbage and recycling is essential for helping maintain a clean and pest free apartment:

There is a garbage container with white bag for regular garbage and two blue recycle containers with clear bags one for Plastic, glass and metal and the other for cardboard and paper.
Regular garbage (white bag) goes out to the curve for pick up on Wednesday and Sunday nights after 6pm.
Recycling goes out to the curve on Thursday nights.
If you are staying over during any of these nights please cooperate and take out your garbage and/or recycling to the curve.

You can also take out anytime your trash or recycling bags are filled , and place them inside the big blue recycling containers or garbage bins (inside wooden box) outside the house.

The sooner garbage and recycling is out of the apt, is the best way to prevent insects in the apt.
