“I recently stayed for one night at the InterContinental One Thousand Island Lake Resort, an IHG Hotel in Qiandaohu, and it was a delightful experience. The hotel's unique location, far from the hustle and bustle, offers a serene escape with a breathtaking view of the lake.

“Had the worst experience booking via Expedia, did not even manage to stay at the hotel, as Expedia had linked the wrong address via google maps on their platform. This was extremely misleading for non-China tourists like myself. Something has to be done about this error on their booking website, and the refund process was extremely tedious with slow replies and them refusing to refund me saying the hotel did not permit. “It’s quite hard to find a pet-friendly hotel stay in China, but this place is out of expectation. My little boy Peanut Butter had a wonderful time here, playing with the hotel’s alpacas and having a lot of fun running around. The room with a well-decor and excellent lake view is extremely clean.
