“I am a bit leery of small places like this, but this one far exceeded my expectations. This is not a five-star resort. This is a small roadside Lodge that is locally owned for a night of restful sleep. It was clean and felt safe. The host was wonderful. The only thing you should know if there are no restaurants close by. If you want to eat, do it in town before you arrive. This would be a perfect place to stay if you are wanting to go into Big South Fork for night sky programs”

“The place was very nice. The bathroom and kitchen especially feel like they're new. The shower was huge and we enjoyed the clawfoot tub. We enjoyed our stay. The stairs were a little steep and we couldn't get the oven to work well. I don't think it ever preheated for the frozen pizza we were trying to heat. ”

“This was by far the best bed and breakfast we have ever visited. Mirtha has the kindest, most gentle and caring soul. We enjoyed getting to know her and her husband Mike. Breakfast was absolutely superb! Our room and the common areas were pristine. The location of this charming home and the views cannot be beat. We will definitely be back, and we highly recommend this place to anyone traveling near the area.”

“This is the second year in a row that we visited the Lakeside Inn at Dale Hollow. A group of friends comes down for the 4th of July to enjoy the weather and the water. The rooms at Lakeside Inn are perfect for us. They are clean, comfortable, and the air conditioning stays pretty cold on those hot days. We look forward to staying again next year. ”
