“I cannot recommend Sugarloaf Lodge enough! Located only 15 minutes drive out of Jindabyne, it was the perfect country escape. It was so peaceful and quiet and the perfect place to disconnect for a while and to just sit back, relax in the sunshine and by the fire and just enjoy the mountains. As a large family with 7 adults and 1 infant that also enjoys cooking, we could not have asked for more when it came to the Lodge. “A 60th birthday celebration, with 4 families in 6 rooms (parents, kids and grandkids). Four bathrooms made things very easy, and the kitchen is well supplied with utensils, pans, crockery and cutlery and a large stove.The grounds are nice, and we had a photographer come over to take shots of the extended family and sub-units.It was a great place to stay.”

“The property was well equipped and clean on the inside but outside areas were quite dirty and needed some maintenance. Hose nozzle was broken so hard to hose down deck area. The unit is quite dated but very comfortable. The airconditioning did not work very well with only 4 outlets for the whole unit. It was very hot for the first two days of our visit and we had difficulty getting the aircon to work as it kept shutting down. Agent did not reply to our request for help for 24 hours which was...

“This is a great basic base with everything you want. It is a perfect location within walking distance from all the good stuff in Jindabyne. They provided lots of useful local info and the mattress was looovely. The little grassed garden was a great safe and secure outdoor space for my dog”
