Short stay in Joes

Stayed a single night on the way west. Place was remote but quiet and beautiful. Perfect relaxing evening. Planning a second stay when traveling back east.

Perfect little spot to rest our heads

This place is very much off the beaten path. We chose this place over a hotel as it was the perfect stopping point in our long road trip with a family of five and our family dog. This was a very large and rustic lodge with plenty of space to stretch our legs after a long drive. The rooms were clean and had all the amenities we needed. The beds were nice and comfortable. We met with the owners when we arrived on site and the personal tour and friendly chit chat is what made this place special. We felt right at home. They made sure we had coffee and cereal ready for us in the breakfast nook right before we left in the morning. There were some amenities on the property that were being updated and worked on, so they were not available at our time there. Which was not a problem at all! This would be a perfect spot for a family gathering and most certainly was perfect for our much needed break from driving.
