Best getaway ever!

Just what we needed for a birthday weekend! Beautiful property, clean, attention to detail and close to activities. Sunsets in the hot tub with stars overhead made this absolutely perfect. We give Valley View A+++++++.

Great house

This guest house was a perfect stay and location for me and my hubby to celebrate our 40th anniversary! It is exactly as presented in website. Owner is fantastic. Very well appointed with lots of extras most homes not supply! Very kind owner.

Lovely home just outside Johnson City

Sky is very involved in the check in process and responsive to any questions. The house is in a beautiful area and the hot tub under the stars is wonderful.

Awesome Place!

This property was very clean, and at a great location! The hot tub is a nice plus, and the hang out area on the porch is very nice for coffee. We grilled some steaks and enjoyed the view from the porch in the evening. Definitely recommend the stay here, and the owner is very helpful and nice!

Weekend getaway

Property and home were beautiful inside and out. All the amenities of home, nice and quiet and close to shopping, restaurants and a short drive to wineries and Fredericksburg. Would definitely recommend.

Relaxing stay

Three sisters enjoyed a long weekend at Valley View. Sky was helpful in making sure we had everything we needed, and it was clear he carefully maintained the home to high standards. The home was clean, the beds were comfortable, and there was a well-equipped kitchen. The provided locally-sourced coffee was a very nice, welcome touch. The home is open concept and any sounds to/from the master are audible throughout which was fine for the three sisters but could be disappointing if a couple was looking for a romantic getaway with another couple. Sky provided recommendations on local restaurants and was on point with Bryan’s in Johnson City for amazing food. The home is within an hour of multiple smaller towns and two large cities, so it’s a good launch pad. We enjoyed several local wineries. We saved Biga on the Banks in San Antonio for our final night there for a celebratory meal.

Quiet and clean

We were able to check in quickly and Sky was very accommodating. We enjoyed the quiet and we got out to eat and drive through the exotic zoo. We had a blast!! Another good spring break with the kiddos in and excellent clean home!!

Awesome relaxing getaway

Beautiful views in a quite area. Gorgeous home is open, impeccably clean, stocked with everything you could need and has an great hot tub. Easy reservation and check in, will definitely stay here again when we escape to the hill country

Much needed peaceful getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this home. I got to wake up on my birthday morning, go drink coffee on the front porch, and look over the hills and greenery of beautiful Johnson City. Our group cooked breakfast and dinner together here both days and had everything all the appliances and cookware needed in the kitchen. Got to pet cows over the fence, went on a dirt road walk, did a workout in the spacious driveway. Played music on the TV with the music channels. Hot tub was the highlight for us, though! This house is very close to town too. The brewery and moonshire distillery downtown were great.

Beautiful, clean and stunning

The two of us stayed at this beautiful property for 6 nights while we working in the area. Sky met up and showed us the house and filled us in on the details of the place including the hot tub. It was spotless and in a beautiful location. We loved our stay here and will be back next time to take in all the sites in Texas Hill Country.

Prime location and clean!

This is in a prime location for wine tasting and visits into town. Will defiantly be coming back! Beautiful property.

Weekend Getaway

Property was newly built and/or newly remodeled. Very clean and met all of our expectations. Very close to town and has the Texas Hills Winery just 1/4 mile down the road. I would definitely recommend. The owner was very polite as well as military and first responder friendly.

Relaxing countryside house

Graciously welcomed by owner when we arrived. Showed us where everything was. House was immaculate and very comfortable. Enjoyed being out in the country. It was quite relaxing.

Clean and beautiful

Stayed here for three nights. Cabin was spotless and very well taken care of. It had absolutely everything that we needed during our stay. The owner Mr. Sky was friendly and made our stay very pleasant. We will definitely be back in the near future. If someone is looking to go visit Johnson City or Fredericksburg, you definitely want to stay at this cabin!
