Hibiscus Rose es una hermosa villa de dos dormitorios, dos baños y medio ubicada en el South Finger de Jolly Harbour. Está a solo cinco minutos a pie de la hermosa arena blanca de South Beach, el restaurante y bar Castaway, y sin mencionar las cristal...

Al ingresar a Hibiscus Rose, hay una cocina totalmente equipada, un área de comedor, que se completa con una mesa para seis personas, una hermosa lámpara de araña que cuelga del techo, justo encima de la mesa del comedor, con un televisor a color de 40 pulgadas montado en la pared. Hibiscus Rose tiene aire acondicionado en todas partes, pero si desea la brisa de la isla, puede salir de la sala de estar a través de las puertas corredizas del patio hacia una cubierta extendida, construida sobre el puerto deportivo. El área de terraza está equipada con una gran parrilla de barbacoa, sillones y mesa de patio con sillas.

We had a wonderful stay in Jolly Harbour. Good communication with the host Lois; and with the caretaker on site, Romeo (He is fantastic); who provided shuttle services for us to the airport as well.The Unit was well maintained, clean and well set up, although a few more sized pots and pans etc would have been nice for meal prep. The Bbq was nice to have as well. We had a small hiccup with the golf cart battery but that was sorted out the next day. The wifi was a bit spotty up in the bedrooms but fine in the lower level. The A/C was good, and quiet.The unit is close to a very nice west facing beach, calm, clean fine sand, and almost no surf so good for little ones. A great local beach bar and restaurant right there too!The pool was also a great option, very clean, with an adjoining restaurant and sports bar, a short golf cart ride away. The local grocery store was right there as well which was convenient, with some local fruit vendors on the street with yummy treats every day.There was a new playground under construction beside the pool, so the area is very kid friendly.We had a wonderful stay, and we will be back for sure.Thanks again Lois!

We had a nice stay at Rose Hibiscus. The villa was as described but we did not have hot water in the shower for two days. I was finally able to get Lois to have Romeo come and repair it. She was not always quickly responsive to messages. In addition, there is no hot tub on property as described in VRBO. The beach is a quick 10 minute walk as is the pool and grocery store. You can rent chairs and an umbrella on the beach for 20 USD. Sandra's Beach Bar has great drinks and food too.

Very nice, extra clean villa in Jolly Beach. The kitchen is provisioned well. Also a brand new gas grill on the patio. Lots of beach chairs and gear for a day at the beach. The patio was great and the view is wonderful. The primary bedroom was large with a king size bed and plenty of closet and dresser space. The ensuite bathroom is nice. The 2nd bedroom although we did not use, was very nice. The host was readily available through VRBO. The on site manager, Romeo was wonderful, he met us upon arrival and when there was an issue with the TV he help resolve it. All in all a convenient beautiful place to stay in Jolly Beach.

A wonderful villa

We (my wife, mum, sister, and niece) recently stayed at the villa and loved it. Whilst the property may not look like a show-home, it is very homely and a lot more spacious than photos show. Although there were 5 of us staying at the villa we didn't feel we were on top of each other and there was plenty of space if you wanted some time alone.The location of the villa is excellent and is about 5 minutes away from the beach and approximately 10 minute walk to the nearest (UK/US) style supermarket. The property manager (Romeo) was also brilliant and was always ready to help, whether it was fixing the TV or changing the gas so we can use the oven. Romeo made us feel at home at the villa and was one of the highlights of our stay.My family and I would happily stay at the villa again and would recommend it to anybody who is looking for a homely home away from home!

Hibiscus Rose

The property was a nice home away from home. The location is perfect. A very safe area. You are able to walk to the beach, grocery store and some local restuarants.The unit itself has alot of room. Air conditioning in all the rooms.The beds are very comfortable, lots of towels and comfortable sitting areas in living room. We loved the outdoor patio to sit and have coffee and listen to nature and look at the boats. The kitchen needs some updates. It has plenty of equipment but the appliances are bit old. The toaster was a bit much it just didn't work right. The fridge is a bit old and a few ice cube trays would have nice.Plenty of glasses, dishes etc but the knives could use to be sharpened. A dishwasher would have been nice. The TV was a bit of a science project so we did not use it that much. I suggest that you bring your passwords for the streaming apps to make it easier to log in.Romeo (the property management) was amazing. He is instrumental in anything you need. He came by to fix a few things immediatley after we contact Lois. I want to especially thank Lois and Shardonnay for the amazing communication. It was great to have answers to my many questions right away. We did rent a golf cart for the first 5 days. It was good to have it to go to supermarket and to Jolly Beach on the days we did not want to walk. We also rented a car for the rest of our visit. All and all the unit if very sweet, comfortable and in a great location.

Everything is right there!

The host communicates very well and gets back to you quickly. We enjoyed having access to the beach, the pool, the tennis courts, the restaurants, night life and excursions all right from Jolly Harbour. You really don’t even need to leave the Harbour to enjoy the vacation. Its a little golf cart community, so make sure you rent one!

Quiet community

Quiet location with convenient amenities nearby. Local beach is only a 5 minute walk. The Villa was nice and roomie but some basic essentials were lacking. There was no shampoo and we almost ran out of toilet paper. I’m sure the manager would have brought some if we inquired. Finding the place was a bit difficult because we rented a car and Google maps did not cover this area very well. Also we got lucky and arrived a half hour early to find the cleaning lady there who let us in. The manager was a bit late to show up later. Villa was a bit dated but it worked for our expectations.

Perfect location and a great stay!

The villa was clean and well appointed. Plenty of room to spread out for our family of five. We loved having the water views from upper and lower deck area. Several great restaurants, grocery store, tennis courts and Jolly Beach all within walking distance. Area was so peaceful, safe and relaxing!

Perfect location for quick 2-minute walk to Jolly Beach

This is our 6th time in Antigua - all times at Jolly Beach. Our 3rd time on South Finger, which is ideal for a quick walk to Jolly Beach. Romeo, Property Manager, arrived a couple of minutes after us. As the villa was unlocked, we were able to get inside immediately upon our arrival. He walked through the tellie, wifi, etc. Came back the next day, as appears we were logged into the wrong network so that was sorted out pretty quickly. The tellie was a bit more complicated to run, so we ended up not using it at all. The villa is well-appointed with all you need for kitchen - pots, pans, utensils, dishes, etc. We cooked in some times, ate out some times. Nice patio area for breakfast, lunch, late afternoon cocktails, etc. The slider from the living room to the patio could use a little tlc though as it was hard to open/close. A light above the dining room table would have also been nice. But we do understand that some work will be done soon on conjunction with the utility room / kitchen, so that should be nice when complete. Great to have a washer/dryer. But dishwasher would be an added bonus. Maybe next time! P.S. We also hired our golf buggy from Romeo which was at the villa when we arrived, so that was great!

We arrived at the condo around 4.30 pm. There was no one to meet us there and no way to get into the building. I took a wild guess and found the keys in the lockbox that was closed, but not locked. Upon entering the condo we found it clean and as described by the ad in VRBO. About half hour into our arrival, Romeo arrived with snacks, fruit and a bottle of wine, which was very kind of him to do. He showed us around the condo, The location was great, the condo was comfortable but needs more facelift. The floors, countertop and bathrooms are nicely renovated. It’s patio doors needed adjusting on the wheels because it drags on the track. The curtain rod had been yanked off the wall and hung under an angle. We had weird led lights on the back of the tv which lit up when you turned the tv on. Our dining room light fixture did not work as all the bulbs were burnt out on it. Romeo said they would be replaced soon but in our two weeks, they never were. Also the wall light in the living room had broken bulbs so it didn’t work either. The one ceiling fixture was horribly bright. The kitchen utensils were awful, dull knives with no sharpener, stained plastic wine goblets, four mismatched plates and frypans that had long lost their lifecycle. Most of the outlets were 220 and only 3 outlets were 120. The master bedroom was large and the bed comfortable, but the a/c unit was old and extremely noisy and we shut it off to sleep. The second bedroom was good with new air conditioner.

The property was exactly as shown ,very clean,2 good size bedrooms,well equipped with everything you would need,great communication prior to arrival,there was no need after we arrived as everything was explained at check in . Paradise

This villa had everything anyone could need for an awesome get away. Kitchen is well equipped, beds are amazing, lots of towels, comfortable seating in sitting area. Home away from home. Property Manager Romeo was prompt to attend to the few issues we had. We have been at several villas over the years and this is definitely one of the best. Thanks Lois and Romeo. Excellent stay in Jolly Harbour villa

Very enjoyable stay in this Jolly Harbour villa. Things we especially liked were the two outdoor options (patio and balcony) to enjoy the waterfront views and scenery, spacious rooms to enjoy cooking at home and relaxing. The location was excellent -- 5 minutes walk from Jolly Beach which is wonderful, a little bit longer walk to a great grocery store and restaurants. We rented a car so it was nice to have a parking place. Romeo, the property manager, was very helpful in getting to the villa from the airport and for any questions that came up. Antigua was a lovely place and we hope to return!

Comfortable stay

The accommodation was as described. The ground floor patio has a limited view as it is at the dead- end of a south finger but is in shade for most of the day. The plants give privacy. The upstairs balcony is narrow but has an excellent view. The main bedroom is full of light from 6am if you are an early morning sunshine person and the bed is good and firm. The second bedroom is shaded and south facing so it can get hot. There are air cons in both. Decent modern furniture in the bedrooms and sitting room with impressive tv and Wi-Fi. Very comfortable sofas. The kitchen is a rather tired but has plenty of equipment. It was quIte useful to have shopping bags, a tea/coffee pot, plenty of towels and a huge fridge. The washing machine and dryer are American style but good to have. My only requests were sharp knives and small mugs. Communication with both Lois and Romeo was excellent. Romeo who was on site was both delightful and entertaining. We would use this accommodation again.

Perfectly Located Jolly Harbour Villa

My family and I had a terrific time at the villa in Jolly Harbour. Villa was as described, comfortable and although slightly dated was clean and perfectly located! A very short walk to one of the nicest beaches in the area was a huge selling point! Romeo (property manager) was instrumental in anything and everything we needed, and was massively additive to our trip (can’t stress this enough). We rented a golf cart which was also a must to get to and from the villa to the central hub of JH where the grocery store and restaurants were located. Having an infant travel with us we were limited on the mobility front but JH had everything we needed and so to did the Villa. Very pleased with our stay and a big shoutout to Lois and Romeo for providing us with everything we needed!

Antiguan Getaway

Hibiscus Rose was a wonderful home away from home during my family’s seven day vacation in Antigua. The villa is very well maintained and immaculately clean. There is a huge TV with over 300 channels for guests to enjoy while lounging on the spacious and comfy sofas. The kitchen is fully stocked with a variety of pots, pans, and utensils. I enjoyed going out onto the patio or balcony every morning and taking in the fresh Caribbean air. The bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable with a full bathroom in each and air conditioning throughout the property. Romeo was delightful to interact with, helpful in guiding us to the property when we first arrived, and very responsive to any questions that we had. The villa within Jolly Harbour was a great location for us since it is walking distance to the beach and a short drive to the other nearby beaches, as well as the grocery store and restaurants. Lois, you have a beautiful home and we thank you for making it available to us!

Antigua revisited

Hibiscus Rose served our family well over Christmas, 2021, during our two weeks stay in Antigua. This well-equipped two-story place is roomy with comfortable beds and wonderful living room and table seating. Our two grandchildren especially enjoyed watching Knight Rider on the huge living room TV when they were not at the nearby pool or Jolly beach, or on their family sailboat. Having morning coffee on the deck was relaxing as its location is perfect so that the sun hits the lovely plantings on the edge that wave gently in the wind. The plants also give guests a degree of privacy. Hibiscus Rose was very clean, and wipes, hand sanitizer, and first aid supplies were plentiful. The owner or Romeo promptly answered our questions. Romeo also helped us with the TV complexities as one can get channels from all over the world. Romeo also was helpful with general information about the area. He is a gem. Wonderful

I was met at the property by the manager Romeo, who spent time familiarising me with the Villa. He gave me his phone number straight away, and told me to call if I had any issues in the Villa. The Villa is just so homely, with everything you need for your stay. Two huge and very comfortable sofas , and the biggest TV in the world! The kitchen has every utensil you could possibly need. There is a utility room with a fantastic washing machine and dryer, although the Antiguan sun always does that job! Upstairs the master bedroom is just beautiful, with a very very comfortable big (Queen I think), new bed. There is also a second TV in this room. The second bedroom has a large king-size bed, and also a single. There is new furniture in both bedrooms. The bedding is just beautiful. There is also an abundance of towels in the villa, including beach towels. The location of the villa on the South Finger, is just perfect, with a beautiful sunny deck looking out over the water, and a two minute walk to Jolly Beach, just the perfect place. There are two BBQ’s on the deck, along with sun loungers and table and chairs. Lois has been the most amazing and helpful host, very quick to respond, and very very helpful with any of my queries. The manager Romeo, couldn’t do enough for me, always on hand if I had a problem, and even took me shopping in St John’s one day! I can highly recommend this villa, and I will most definitely be coming to stay here again. Thank you Lois and Romeo.
