  • Imagine spending a few nights living like David Crockett or Daniel Boone in the Tennessee Foothills with a fire in the fireplace and nestled on a horse farm by a trickling creek. Rustic but with modern conveniences such electric stove, clawfoot bathtub, central air and heat. Great views and a porch swing. Loft bedroom, washer and dryer, Microwave and coffee maker and stocked kitchen with an outdoor gas grill. Just 2 miles from historic Jonesborough, Tennessee's oldest town. We ask for at least 2 night stays on the weekends. One night is ok weekdays.

Beautiful 1883 cabin - our family enjoyed the view of the mountains and the horses too. Kitchen is well stocked in its tiny shape. Thank you!

This place is amazing, we stayed for 5 days and absolutely loved every minute. It is so peaceful and relaxing, the horses are absolutely beautiful. I would highly recommend this place.

We had a great time staying at the cabin. Plenty to do around the area. We visited the Gray's fossil site and Bristol Caverns. We would definitely stay again.

This was so fun to stay at this rustic cabin! We felt like we were in a set of a western movie! Beautiful location and so peaceful and serene. I loved the porch swing! Was the fun experience we hoped for.

This place was absolutely amazing!!! We will be booking every year when we come into town around this time! It was the coolest and most relaxing cabin. The views were amazing and everything was as promised. We HIGHLY recommend just not on the 3rd week in June, then its ours!!! Seriously could not be happier with our experience here!

What a unique and wonderful place to stay! We loved waking up and having coffee on the front porch watching the horses! Honestly, the view every time we walked out the door or looked out the window was just beautiful! Such a rustic cabin with all the modern conveniences, the retrofitted stove was my husband’s favorite!

Great visit

We were in the mountains for 24 hours and this was a perfect fit. Easy check in, unique and fun place to stay and clean. Would be happy to stay here again in the future.

We surprised our 85 year old mother because staying in a log cabin was on her bucket list. She was surprised and had to see every inch all at once. She really only enjoyed her stay.

This was a one of a kind awesome place to stay. The host was super helpful and accommodating. We said WOW so many times exploring the thoughtful touches all around the cabin. The landscape was beautiful and we loved sitting on the porch watching the horses graze.

We just needed a place to rest our heads after the race and we opted to book for this cabin. First, pictures don’t really do the cabins coolness any justice. In person is phenomenal with the simple antique decor. The old cabin is just a super cool piece of art really where you can hang out and watch horses on the porch. Owner is super responsive to messages and makes the check in and check out process super easy and efficient. Next time we’re in town for a race this will be where we hang our hats for the night.

We were expecting an old cabin located on an open space. We were amazed beyond our imagination with the cabin. It is incredible. the location wasn't as open as we thought, but it was beautiful. Very relaxing location. Cabin was full of a lot of stuff from dishes, bedding, games, and even some food. Very happy with our stay. Would definitely rent again if we get back tothat area.

We had a few small hiccups upon arrival but our host Rick resolved immediately. The cabin sits on a horse farm & is beautiful as well as quiet. Being able to make a fire made it comfortable & cozy as did rocking on the front porch at sunrise & sunset. The beds are comfortable & a great perk to able to wash laundry while staying a day or two. Internet, TV & iphones all had connectivity entire stay. If your looking for a safe, clean, quiet, rustic place to hang out while on the road " You hit the jackpot" 100% would stay here again..

Very relaxing

We needed somewhere to unwind that we could also take our three fur babies. Couldn't have asked for a better escape! The sunrises, the sunsets, The horses right out the window. Just enough modern convenience blended in to an 1880's escape. Our fur babies loved the walks of the gravel driveway every morning and night. The horses would come over to greet us. Cuddling up to a warm fire was just the perfect touch to end each day. We plan to come back!
