“One of the best places we have stayed in forty years! Pristine accommodations, well stocked kitchen and a welcome basket that included homemade salsa and chips. Swings and rockers to enjoy the peaceful quiet and beautiful woods. Amazing game room, comfy beds with luxury sheets, gorgeous wood floors and even Ethan Allen furniture! They have thought of everything to create a perfect stay We will be back!!!!”

“We had a fantastic time at this little slice of heaven. Truly countless things you can do at this property. We really enjoyed the outdoor space, fishing, bonfires and swimming for the kiddos. It was also very nice to have TVs all over the place, to keep sports and movies going for the inside time. The property was very clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend the 9 Oaks for travelers of all ages. We would love to return in the future :)”

“We had a great time staying at this place for our girl's trip! The location was great, saw deer, turkeys, tons of wildlife and enjoyed having nobody else around while still being only 10-15 minutes to town. Bill and Bonnie were amazing to work with and had everything that you could think of at the cabin for an enjoyable stay. We highly recommend this place and can't wait to come back soon! ”

“This was my second time staying at this property, this time I traveled with my in laws and booked the adjoining room as well this time. Area had a lot of snow the evening of checkin, but we had 2 meals at the Story Inn and one in the kitchenette. Got a little shopping done in Nashville once the roads were cleared. And of course enjoyed the sauna! A slightly snowbound trip but beautiful and low key and enjoyable. Would book again if I’m in the area, maybe a different season since I’ve done...

We walked the path to the Story Still Tavern & Grill and had a great dinner, then we stayed for karaoke and had a blast. “We were looking for a nice quiet place to read and relax! We loved that it was close enough to town that we were able to get some shopping in. There wasn’t a single thing we were missing when we cooked a meal at the cabin. The hot tub was primed and ready to go when we got there. Plenty of wild life so it wasn’t eerily quiet. “Great location for quiet and peaceful stay. As nice as it is out in the country you would think they would keep up with grass being mowed though it was 10 inches tall with chiggers all in it. The owner sent us an e mail trying to get us to stay an extra night for 200 plus 10 percent discount before taxes and fees and we only paid 100 dollars a night for our stay i didn't think that was much of a discount. Overall good little cabin in middle of nothing”
