This is a cute little home in an older neighborhood. There are some cracks in the sidewalk, and on the walkway. There’s a cute little porch with seating. It has an easy-to-use front door keypad. And the house is clean with two bedrooms with very comfortable beds, that share a bathroom between the two bedrooms. This rental also has an adequate kitchen and has a nice laundry room with good washer and dryer. Large dining area and front room. Where the TV has cable and other platforms to watch. My daughter and I stayed there and felt perfectly safe. We were mother and grandmother visiting our grandson who lives just two blocks from there. So the location for us was very good. The host responded right away when I wanted to bring my grandson and his wife over for cake. He okayed it right away. Also, it seems to have a nice backyard, but we didn’t use it.

It is average facility.Please ask the care taker to clean the dust in the sit out and entrance avoiding cobweb nets etc....Inside the room is okay, but the stink of the old aged rooms is like someone not used very much.

Super Comfy Stay

This property is a quaint older home that the owners have turned into a stylish mix of retro and boho. Stayed here with my adult daughter one night on our way through Joplin. Beds were comfortable and the host provided all the basics in the bathroom and kitchen. It is located in a typical older neighborhood close to the heart of Joplins original downtown. Highly recommend eating at The Onion restaurant that is close by.

Beautifully renovated older home

We loved the style of the place. It was very well renovated and designed. Everything in the place matched the asthetic. They maintained the old characteristics of the home while making it stylish and updated as well. Interesting older neighborhood. Very clean. Very simple check in and check out. Great place!

Great location for north end or downtown.

My old neighborhood, so I was biased. Frankly, the north end south of the old Columbia School is in poor shape. However, the unit captures in a contemporary form the feel of post-WWII Joplin. Great hosts. Super hot water. Big kitchen. Current gen HDTV and internet. What else could you want.

Nice place in Joplin

Only stayed one night. House was exceptionally clean. Quiet (except for the train sound in the front bedroom). Neighborhood is good. Parking is on the street. I like the mid-century look and beds are very comfortable. Low water pressure in shower, but nice and hot. The owner was quick to respond to messages and I like that there is an alarm for peace of mind at night. Absolutely would recommend especially for a longer stay.

Super cute jungle cottage, fantastic host!

I booked the jungle cottage to stay at while I was visiting family and friends in Joplin. The cottage is bright and clean, super cute, cozy and just perfect all around! David the host has thought of everything including the little touches! The shower is warm, the bed is really comfortable and the kitchen is functional. The kitchen might be my favorite part of the house! The pictures DO the home justice, which is rare compared to other homes in the area. I’ll be staying here again when I come back to Joplin. Highly recommended you stay here too! Thanks again David your home is designed for a perfect stay!

The Jungalow is a Forest of Fun

The Jungalow is a great weekend home in Joplin! My party and I loved the jungle themed house and the cleanliness of the property. Would recommend to anyone to stay at the Jungalow! We also stayed during the local porch fest weekend and the neighbors were very friendly and welcoming.
