We loved staying at Tequesta Shangri-La. The house is gorgeous with a beautiful yard full of flowers, hummingbirds and butterflies. The pool is nice to soak in on the warm 80 degree January days. The hostess is a warm and friendly person that makes sure everything is great for your stay. We look forward to coming back.

The home was great and met our needs. We did have a couple issues while there, dishwasher and pool heater, but being a home owner, understand that issues happen. Carolyn was very responsive and her dad lives locally and came over to take a look too and repair people were called and issues fixed. My only suggestion would be having extra amenities. Our flight the day coming in was delayed 6 hours so we got in very late with 3 younger kids. There was no shampoo or bodywash in the bathrooms. There was a Keriug but no extra k-cups. Paper towel was almost gone and no extra roll. And only one extra roll of toilet paper in one of the 2 bathrooms. We are a family of 5 and were given 6 big bath towels (for showers) and 2 beach towels. We have stayed at rentals prior and usually they have extra towels and just do a count after to make sure none are missing. Since we flew in we didn’t have a lot of extra packing space for towels and ended up going to Ross nearby and just buying some. The location is great being close to the beach and stores. My kids loved the local park. A coffee shop and ice cream shop were a short walk as well. We stayed over Thanksgiving and the kitchen was equipped enough to make my family a small feast. Pool was great! Overall a great stay.

Lovely interlude in Tequesta

Property was clean and well appointed. The owner was super attentive and even came over at 9:30 pm when I told her we couldn’t find the laundry detergent! Thank you, Carolyn, for a lovely stay!

Perfect House Rental Close to Everything!!

My family and I found this house last minute and the host, Carolyn, 100% made our quick trip an awesome trip! We highly recommend this house to everyone! Everything you can think of … beautifully manicured property with a screened in pool and a fenced property for your special fur baby! A fully stocked kitchen, Tesla charger if needed, all kinds of beach gear and an immaculate garage! Plan your next vacation to the beach and stay here!

Fantastic

This house is perfect in every way. Carolyn (the owner) is the best. She goes out of her way to make sure her guests have everything they need. The home is spacious and the pool area is beautiful. The location is ideal. It’s just a short walk to Tequesta Village which has cute shops and great coffee shops. The beach is a very short drive. I would highly recommend this property.

Our stay at Tequesta’s Shangri-La

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home in Tequesta. The house fit are needs perfectly. Spacious, clean, comfortable. The beautifully landscaped backyard was our favorite spot which included the screened in patio, eating area, and gorgeous pool. Nice safe neighborhood in the perfect location near beach, restaurants, and attractions. The hostess Carolyn was wonderful!! She was friendly and attentive to any questions or concerns. A great little gem in Tequesta

We spent 3 weeks at Tequesta Shangrila, a lovely home in a quiet, safe neighborhood yet close to everything and anything, which was definitely a highlight since we enjoy walking so much. The hottest spot in town is just around the corner, a local coffee shop called "Perk" and of course we became regulars. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting out back on the patio each after day to take in the afternoon sun, the yard is private and fenced in, with beautiful landscaping. The house was extremely clean and well stocked with all essentials, and Carolyn was a very attentive host, always responsive and helpful whenever needed, and truly made us feel welcome, Thanks Carolyn!

The Best!

We were looking for a home near our kids so that we could host a family Thanksgiving get-together. This one was perfect; so much better than the average rental. It was super clean, well maintained, and convenient to everything. As a bonus, Carolyn, the owner, was so kind and attentive. She should be the reason you book this. My only complaint is that five stars is the highest rating I can give it. It deserves more.

Absolutely Wonderful!!!

Our stay at the Shangri La was better than we could have hoped for. The house is equipped with everything our family of 6 needed. It was clean, comfortable, quiet and private. The pool is amazing and so refreshing. Carolyn is super helpful and answered all our questions right away. The location is perfect and close to beaches, restaurants, parks, shopping and more. We loved our stay and highly recommend the Shangri La!!

Shangri-La is a little slice of Heaven

Aptly named, Shangri-La is an immaculate, cozy, tranquil home. It is truly a little slice of heaven located in the lovely village of Tequesta. We enjoyed several quiet and private breakfast and evenings by the beautifully landscaped pool. Carolyn, our host, truly made us and our fur baby feel like valued guests, with comfortable seating for 6 at the dining table and a fully stocked kitchen; combined with a living area that will comfortably sit the same (insanely comfortable recliners for five people!), you truly could not ask for more. We stayed in this beautiful home in search of our forever home and with the comfort of the beds, the cleanliness of the house, it made for a great visit to this part of Florida now and in the future. Thank you again Carolyn for a wonderful experience!

Perfect vacation!

This house was perfect for my family’s vacation to Florida! Exceptionally clean, with all the amenities and everything we could possibly need to enjoy our time. The screened in pool and secluded backyard was the best! Everyone slept well, relaxed, played, swam and enjoyed their stay so very much. Carolyn was always available and so accommodating. We can wait to visit again soon!
