We absolutely loved this property! This was our first time visiting Maui and the location and unit was amazing and perfect! It is close to so many restaurants and shops and we were able to walk everyone. The condo itself was clean and in great condition. The pictures were exactly like the actual unit. There were 4 beach chairs that were great for the taking to the beach everyday and we had plenty of space in the condo for our family of 6. I would highly recommend this space and location and we would love to visit again!

Picture perfect beach front condo that made our family vacation into a life long memory! The condo looks directly at the ocean and palm tree lined beach. Wonderful amenities at the property and in close walking proximity to Whalers Village for shopping and Black Rock for snorkeling with fish and sea turtles. Surf lessons directly by the condo was amazing for the kids and allowed the parent to watch from the condo.

It exceeded our expectations ... for the first time, a VRBO property was as spectacular as listed. Perfect location, clean, amazing property manager, and the views?? Outstanding. Definitely will book again.

We have stayed in numerous units at the Kaanapali Alii resort over the years. This was the worst one. Great views but low quality interior, awful mattresses, dryer did not work along with other issues.

This property is amazing!! Everything was perfect! The location is great, right in the middle of Kaanapali Beach. Short walk to Whalers Village. Even though the dryer wasn't working, the service manager went out out of his way to accommodate our need for clean towels. Definitely a 10 out of 10!!

Dream vacation

The perfect location. Beautiful views, easy and quick access to the pool and sandy beaches. Convenient 5 to 10 minute walk to shopping, restaurants and excursions such as whale watching and snorkeling. Very clean and quiet. We watched whales spout and dolphins frolic from our lanai. Truly loved every minute on this beautiful property.

50th Wedding Anniversary

We took my parents here for their 50th wedding anniversary. It has a fabulous view! Great location and nice beach. We were happy with our stay and would choose it again.

BETTER THAN EXPECTED 🐋❤️🌞🍍

Absolutely Amazing! From the time we walked in, it was perfect. This is a corner room and the views are breathtaking. I’m not a beach person, so the large lanai was ideal. We lived on the south side, Wailea for 14 years, but this unit and location are a cut above! Easily walk to shopping, dining, luaus, beach activities and of course sunset. Very quiet, we never heard anyone else. Going to sleep and waking up to the sound of the waves crashing was spectacular! We will definitely be back! Mahalo!

Perfect 2nd Stay

This was our 2nd stay in this condo during whale watching season. The beachfront location is amazing… we spent several hours each day on the patio whale watching. The pool area is nice, and Kaanapali beach is great for kayaking, snorkeling, sunbathing, etc. Most of our excursions left from the beach, which was so convenient. We love being so close to Whaler’s Village for restaurants/shopping. This condo is a 10+!!

Location, location, location

We loved our stay at the Ali'i. The corner views from the apartment and the view from the balcony don't get much better. The apartment was spacious for the 5 of us. One of our adult kids slept on the pullout sofa (but did not find it very comfortable. Probably better for a smaller child as there was not much support. ) Overall the place looks identical to the photos. Family room was very comfortable for our family in the evenings. Good table space inside and outside for meals. The kitchen is small and crowded when everyone is making food at the same time, but an easy fix. And while most of the apartment felt remolded, the master bathroom (specially the tub) felt very old and dated. Even a quick switch of the shower head would be a huge upgrade to match the rest of the place. We had one incident of water entering the bathroom from the apartment above us. We called the property manager and the building maintenance and the response was immediate. They identified the issue, fixed the problem, apologized for the minor inconvenience- we were super impressed at the care that is taken in this building and by the property manager of this apartment. Given the small amount of time anyone spends inside while in Hawaii, having incredible views and great location certainly adds to making a great vacation even better! We would stay here again.

Excellent Apartment with great Ocean Views

The apartment was great and we had a wonderful time. Views were terrific and, as usual the weather was great. We had a person in a wheelchair and the steps were challenging but we accommodated. We would probably rent a ramp next time and yes there will be a next time. One minor suggestion would be to put a rubber mat in the shower/tub in the master bath as the tub floor was very slippery. inside steps are not well liked; the sofa bed is extremely uncomfortable for adults(needs inflatable mattress), toilets too low without assist bars; shower needs safety grab bars; location and views are fantastic.

We have stayed multiple times at Kaanapali Alli - never disappoints. Great apartments- fabulous views. Great amenities. Walking distance to many shops, bars and restaurants. And the best secret - chef to help bbq in the evening! Had a wonderful week. Always sad to leave.

Great stay (and with some fixes, could be excellent)

We had a great time at this place. The location is fantastic: corner condo on the 8th floor with an amazing view of the beach and waters, with a view of Lanai on one side and Molokai on the other. You can see the full length of Kaanapali Beach all the way to Black Rock. The place was clean with all the amenities as advertised. The kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry are fully stocked. There were even beach related items, like beach chairs, a boogie board, and beach toys if you have small children. We were contacted both by Faith, the property owner, and Kaanapali Ali, and were well informed about the check-in process, which was seamless. It really is a fantastic place. We found Faith and her staff quite responsive, usually replying within 24 hours at most. The only thing that makes us give 4 stars instead of 5 are two issues: (1) The guest bathroom door would not close. In fact, it wouldn't move at all. We were told that the door was broken and would need to be replaced entirely, which they understandably couldn't do while we were staying there. However, this forced everyone to use the master bathroom. In addition, the master bathroom door would not lock, which is not ideal either. (2) Many of the windows were very difficult to open and close. The window in the master bedroom would not close at all unless you stuck your finger inside and held down the latch until the window would close, which risks you getting your finger jammed or smashed. And the AC doesn't turn on unless you close the window fully. Now, overall these weren't big deals and didn't detract from an otherwise wonderful stay at a beautiful place. But really they should have been fixed before our stay, and given the amount we had to pay for this place, you expect to get what you pay for. Overall, we would definitely recommend this place but would advise other travelers to verify that management has fixed the issues before making a reservation.

Excellent Spring Break
