Do not pass on this!!!! Beautiful!!!

I was a little hesitant on renting this property but OMG, best investment every. Beautiful location, plenty of things to do. Love the multiple pool selection. There’s a little general store on site that had all the little necessities we needed. Walk out to the beach and secured parking. Our unit was exceptionally cleaned when we walked in. Very roomy, bathrooms were large. Our family had such a wonderful time in a short amount of time. Will definitely rent again when I return to Maui.

Great Stay

Really enjoyed this property. It was spacious, clean, & quiet. Also liked that it was so close to the elevator. Could hear the elevator at night but thats because it was middle of the night when guests are sleeping. Never noticed it once I was sleep. Also enjoyed the views of the mountains & water.

Maui spring break

We loved staying here! The room was really big. We loved having a kitchen and 2 bathrooms. The host also provides beach chairs and umbrellas and the room is stocked with everything you need. We were sad to leave!

The perfect getaway!

This condo was absolutely perfect for us! It is super well maintained and the hotel itself is fantastic as well! The staff are amazing and the grounds are immaculate. It’s also in the perfect location and really central to everything on this side of the island! We will DEFINITELY be staying again!

A very relaxing vacation

This property is great for a family of three or more with two separate bedrooms and bathrooms. The Lanai was gorgeous and just gave you such a view of the hills it was very attractive. Nice to have chairs and things for the beach that we could use, the kitchen was clean and had useful utensils, TV was great which we hardly ever use because we were so busy doing fun things on Maui!

Condo was very large and had 2 masters and a giant patio, came with beach package and fully stocked kitchen, the management company was very quick to respond to all of our questions before and during our stay.

Paradise in paradise

My family and I had an amazing stay at this property. It’s a beautiful, clean, well kept up unit with a great view. It’s on floor 9 of 10 and has a little glimpse of ocean view. The patio doors open all the way in every room and we thoroughly enjoyed this amenity- soaking in the warm Maui breeze every morning and night. The unit also came with a “Beach package” which included three umbrellas, four beach chairs, a cooler, kids toys, skim board and boogie boards. This was a VERY nice added touch and made the experience that much better. In addition it was equipped for little ones with dishware, two pack-n-plays and high chairs all conveniently right in the unit. The unit is beautiful and has great TVs (not that we watched a lot of tv). We loved our stay and would highly recommend this unit. The icing on the cake was the box of complimentary chocolate covered macadamia nuts left on our counter upon arrival. The only issue we had was we arrived later than expected (after hours) and it took a good 1/2 hour to coordinate with the resort security to get our keys, but the management company is very good about checking in with you and making sure your stay is perfect. The resort itself was also very nice. Great pools both for kids and adults (with a water slide), beautiful views, nice beach (bring snorkels) and large, tropical grounds. The famous Dukes restaurant is steps away. Overall excellent experience and we were very impressed with the management of this property.

Great family property

We really enjoyed our stay with KBM at this property. It had all the beach equipment we needed for our visit which was nice. The rooms were very nicely kept and clean. The only downfall to this property would be the dated appliances. The washer and dryer hardly worked in the dishwasher had missing pieces inside. Other than that this property lived up to its expectations and we really enjoyed staying there.

Resort was very family friendly

Rooms were great very nice kitchen and bath rooms. Carpet is looking a little dated. View was not so great but did provide privatciy. The construction directly below was really no big deal they start work around 7 end at 3. Did not create a problem. So the discounter room and free rental car was worth it. Resort has great beach with amazing reef for snorkeling right in front of hotel Pool had option the lazy river was really lazy more just a pool. Keep that in mind but grounds eeee super clean and pretty. Staff very help full location was great market supper closes.

Honua Kai room 926

Had a wonderful stay at Honua Kai. We loved the size of the room and the size of the lanai. The room overlooks a construction zone so it was noisy, but the view of the mountains is gorgeous. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. The property is beautiful and the whole family really enjoyed the pools. My only real complaint is that the shower head in one of the bathrooms is terrible. If you are staying at this property for more than 4 days, you will need to buy toilet paper, hand soap and trash bags.

Unit 926 has amazing mountain and ocean views from the large balcony.

The Honua Kei is a very nice resort. The location is great for easy access to many activities. Unit 926 is very specious. We had 4 adults and 2 children. KBM Hawaii was also very easy to work with. Thr carpet is beginning to show its age but everything thing else was in really good shape. I highly recommend.

Home away from home

Unit was great. It was clean and in great shape. Beds were comfortable (can't say that about all vacation units). Plenty of room for our family of 5. So nice to have a fully functional kitchen, washer and dryer, good wifi, and 2 full bathrooms when travel with 3 kids. Unit is conveniently located close the elevator that goes to the first floor (shop, spa!, gym!, pools, ocean, etc.) and parking garage. Walls are thick so we didn't hear the elevator nor our neighbors. Yes! Property was very nice. Multiple pools to choose from and one has a fun water slide. On site restaurants has good food and is just off the beach - nice for sunset meals. There is all access to very nice beach for playing in the mellow waves. Also easy walk to a collection of food trucks and the nearby grocery store for fulling your stomache and stocking the fridge. One thing to note is that the property is building new villas over the next year or so in what was the field to the east of the unit. When you go out on the patio and look down you have a prime view of the construction. The unit is on the 9th floor so it's pretty easy to look over it when enjoying the views and ocean breeze. When we were there we couldn't hear any of the construction in the unit and on the patio the noise was minimal. Overall, we had a great stay, we would stay there again, and are recommending it to friends.

Best Resort in Kaanapali and AWESOME customer service with KBM Hawaii!

This is our second stay at this resort Honua Kai. These condos are JUST THE LARGEST and MOST beautiful I have stayed at in the 30 years that we have traveled to Maui (almost once or twice per year!) Te living room doors slide open about 16 feet to a HUGE lanai so you absolutely get the indoor outdoor feel. Also this particular unit has ocean view ONLY from the lanai BUT the Mountain view was equally as spectacular! I HIGHLY recommend this resort. Beautiful grounds, great little store with all of your basics and 5 minute walk to the larger grocery store. The beach in front is a bit rocky and small but other then that, best resort ever. Also Duke's restaurant is on the property and they deliver poolside. What more could you ask for?! Washer and dryer in unit. Unit filled with amenities like beach towels and chairs and boogie boards etc.

Perfect for families!

This property was absolutely perfect for us! We were 4 adults and 2 young children (ages 1 and 2). The unit was spacious, clean, and comfortable. They had a pack n play, booster seat and beach toys for the kids. The property is like a resort - on site convenience store, coffee shop, and Duke's restaurant on the beach. Lot's of pools, including kiddie pools and a water slide. Beach front access. Everything you need all in one place - you never need to leave!

Great Property

My family of 5 had an excellent stay at this property. We enjoyed everything about the location, the Honua Kai resort, and the physical property itself. While you can't see the ocean from the unit, the territorial view is very nice and everything else is top notch. I would happily stay in this property again. BTW, my experience with VRBO was super iffy, and I'm not very impressed with the service.

Very nice condo, well stocked!

We really liked this condo, beautiful Mountain View and fully furnished with everything from salt and pepper to boogie boards. The propert manager was excellent. Very quick to take care of any problems we had( low flow shower, and leaky coffee pot). The only thing it took a bit of getting use to was elevator noise. Really no big deal, but took a bit to figure out what the noise was. Other then that great place.

Perfect condo for families visiting Maui

Awesome resort condo in Ka’anapali! Right on the beach with Duke’s restaurant right there and great pools for lounging or playing with the kiddos. Almost all of the resorts on Ka’anapali are hotels, so not great for families with young kids who need to go to bed much earlier than the rest of the group, or are still napping. Having bedrooms and a separate living space was invaluable. There is a coffee shop in one of the towers, and a general store in the other. The two bedroom condo was plenty spacious and had a full kitchen with everything you’d need. FYI for those of you traveling with babies, both bathrooms are large enough to put pack n plays in them (you could even fit two pack in plays in one bathroom if needed). The condo was stocked with all the necessities like dish soap, dishwasher pods, laundry pods, pots & pans, etc. They also had beach chairs, beach towels, coolers, boogie boards, sand toys, and a pack n play. The patio/lanai was great, really spacious and both bedrooms opened up to it. During our stay they had to shut down two of the pools to resurface them, but KBM did a great job informing us and offering multiple options, including a refund if we no longer wanted to stay there. It was a bummer, but KBM made an unfortunate situation much better with their professionalism. The beach in front of the hotel is gorgeous and there is a boardwalk you can stroll along right between the beach and the hotel. We saw tons of people running along it—it would make for a beautiful morning run! The condo is also right next to a grocery store and a great fish market that serves up a delicious ahi sandwich and poke. We definitely recommend staying here while you are in Maui and wouldn’t hesitate staying here again.

Loved our stay will be back!!!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Honua Kai!!! Our condo was perfect beautiful view of mountains and peekaboo view of the ocean from the huge lanai. The condo had everything we needed, the grounds and amenities of the resort were perfect. We made most of our dinners and the kitchen had everything we needed. There were beach chairs and coolers so we were set for relaxing on the many local beaches (favorite was just down the road in Napili). We will be back!!! KBM was very organized and helped us with anything we needed, such a great experience. Mahalo
