Light above all bulbs burnt out except one that flashes on and off.Refrigerator warning alarms starting at 2 am every 20 min for 2 hrs.No good lighting.Dirty throw pillows on couch/chair.Floor was dirty and lanai was filthy, our feet was black from just walking out on the lanai.

There were multiple maintenance issues upon arrival in the unit. An exterior door was broken, toilet was broken, a sink was running very slow. Cupboards falling off the hinges in the kitchen. Absolutely filthy and moldy chase lounges with huge staining all over them that were unable to even be used at all, due to the filth and mold. Overall, the unit looks beaten up and the furniture and walls are not maintained properly.

Our stay was wonderful. The condo was great and had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable. The lanai was very nice it was great to have the extra space. It was not a problem having it shared no one ever walked by. The view of the ocean was beautiful. The property manager was great and very easy to work with. She was always quick to respond if anything was needed. It is a perfect place for families having the different pools was wonderful and its a easy walk to the beach. Dukes has great drinks and food. Highly recommend. Mahalo for letting us stay in your condo.

Great place/location. Only concern was when the hot water heater broke, neither the property manangement nor the condominium association could advise who was responsible. They pointed at each other. Had we not followed up for a 3rd time after 24 hours who knows when it would have been fixed. Once they figured out who was responsible, the water heater was replaced within 4 hours. Thirty hours without hot water. Hopefully they have learned the process.

Location of the condo was great! We did have a few people wander into our part of the lanai which was a bit odd in the mornings but not a huge deal. The place is spacious and was wonderful for us and our three kids!

Amazing!!! Our family had such a great stay. Never have to leave the resort, has everything you need right there. Great view, great beach, great snorkeling, great restaurants, great pools easy walk to food trucks and right on the beach. This was my families 2nd time at Honua Kai and it didn't disappoint. Hope to come back.

Outstanding Maui Condo

From check-in to check-out, our stay was perfect and seamless. We were a family of six (4 adults, 2 small children) and found the condo well stocked with necessities and the shared lanai was amazing. We have stayed at Honua Kai several times in the past and found this condo to be exceptional. We shopped at Times grocery store which is within walking distance, dined at Dukes frequently and loved that the beach is so close. The beach chairs in the condo were greatly appreciated. We would definitely stay here again and experienced a memorable and fantastic stay.

Fantastic Location! Unit Primed for a Refresh

The property's location was fantastic; it had easy electronic access, and the property management company was excellent. However, the actual unit showed some wear and the furniture was quite uncomfortable. The master shower was challenging to use because the door opens inward, making it nearly impossible to easily turn on the shower and enter the space. Additionally, the kitchen sink made a gurgling sound, and the second toilet ran periodically on its own.On a positive note, the beds and pillows were outstanding and very comfortable. Another advantage was the beach gear and the starter items provided for the kitchen, laundry, and showers. And electronic beach towel access was great!The lighting throughout the unit was dim, and the television package was heavily focused on sports.We encountered a problem when the refrigerator broke down, which forced us to rely on coolers, ice, and a temporary refrigerator. Unfortunately, we received a new one just the day before our departure. While we appreciated the credit we received, we did not receive compensation for the food that spoiled.After leaving the property, we received an email with checkout information, which left us unsure whether we had completed everything on the list.Overall, this property was very clean, although it did show some signs of wear. Despite the refrigerator issues, which the property management addressed promptly, we had a fantastic time.

Amazing Stay

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Traveled there with my husband, two young kids, and our au pair. We had everything we needed to cook some meals, the location was great, and the place was clean and easy to access! Will definitely stay here again in the future!

Great spot!

We had a fantastic stay! The condo was exactly as pictured, and the two king beds made it feel like having two master suites—so comfortable and spacious. The location was perfect, with a great restaurant onsite, easy access to pools and the beach, and included parking. We also loved that there was a food truck park and a grocery store within walking distance. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful, making the whole experience seamless. Highly recommend!

Amazing Maui Vacay!

We had the most wonderful time. The condo was incredible! Super clean and exactly what we were hoping for. The views from the lanai were spectacular and we spent many mornings enjoying the view as we ate breakfast, and many nights watching the skyline as the sun set. The staff was great! Responding quickly to all of our needs and questions. Couldn’t have been more helpful. We will most definitely return and will stay here again.

Great location, beautiful property

First time to Maui and this property was amazing. We visited with another couple and the condo was perfect for us. Beds are comfortable, as is all the furniture. Nicely decorated and the lanai was perfect. Quick walk to the beach and pools. Duke's has great food and the bar staff was excellent. We had a massage at the spa and again, great staff and services. Super easy check-in and out. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful room with large Lanai!

We absolutely loved our stay. We were nervous about the shared Lanai but it absolutely is not an issue. Just gives you so much extra space. Family of 5 stayed comfortably and are already planning to book again in the future. Dayna at Epic was so helpful extending our stay and bringing us a new cooler when the one in the room was broken. Thank you for a great family vacation!

Nice spot to getaway

Great space. We had enough room to lounge both inside and outside on the wrap around balcony. The little extras made the difference, when we went off to explore. Chairs, cooler, umbrella, and a skim board...

This was an incredible condo for two couples or a family. Lovely living area that opened into a very large outdoor patio. Great for outdoor dinners and hanging out. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

Fabulous!!

Great property! Even better than expected from the listing! Amazing sunsets and beautiful landscaping. Being able to get drinks and food from Dukes was a big plus. We had an issue with our washing machine and property manager was very attentive and it was fixed promptly. We would absolutely go back!!

A great property with awesome space!!

We were very happy with the space and amenities offered at this property! We were a bit apprehensive about the "shared lanai," but while it may not offer the privacy other units might have, it worked well for us. If you don't like soft beds, this might not be the place for you. Probably the softest bed I've ever slept on. Loved the folding doors to open up to the lanai! Also, great privacy inside with bedrooms on opposite ends of unit with very few shared walls.

Perfect spot for a family vacation

The property and condo were great. Spacious living areas and bedrooms. Stocked with all the essentials for a week at the beach. Pool and amenities were fantastic, particularly for families with you kids. The huge terrace was a fantastic place for morning coffee or dinner. Would definitely recommend.
