Honokowai stay

Great location slightly away from Lahaina, but close enough. Found several quiet beaches nearby and Maui Brewing just around the corner. Loved the stay1

Great spot

We loved this location , the beach was very nice and less busy than some of the main beaches. Nice area to go for a walk or run and plenty of stores and restaurants near by.

This property has a great view. We saw whales & turtles every single day from our balcony. Clear ocean view. The house was stocked with everything we need and the bed was so comfortable. I highly recommend and will go back again.

Fantastic!

A wonderful location to spend time in Maui. We saw whales every day from the balcony during our January visit and the view was stunning. Could hear the surf from the room and had all the amenities needed for a 10-day visit. Beach access was not a problem as we could easily get to nice spots by either walking or taking a short ride. Would definitely stay again - owners did a great job.

I had a Wonderful Vacation

I really enjoyed my stay again this year. We left the lanai door open all night to hear the ocean as we slept. We had an excellent view of the ocean and the land. Very Peaceful and close to any nightlife we chose. I have already made reservations for next year.

Loved the property and the view! Nice to fall asleep to the waves breaking on the shore each night. The beach chairs, umbrella, and ice chest available to use was a bonus for our all day excursions. So thankful!

beautiful, amazing, stunning, never been done before

We had such great stay! The room was the perfect size for the two of us and the view from to balcony was just like the pictures! We were very grateful for the washer and dryer in unit as well. Great location with lots of beaches only minutes away! Pool was also very nice, never too crowded and very relaxing. Watched the sunset on the beach each night :) Thank you so much to Shelly and Dan for sharing your place with us. We are already talking about coming back! Much Mahalo, Jess and Josh

Our stay

What can you say you're in Maui, the view was amazing..seen all kind of whale action!! The host had everything you could need to enjoy the pool and or beach. On the other hand the bed was way to soft for us but that doesn't mean it could not be to your liking, don't let that stop you from visiting their wonderful place!!

Amazing

Just got back from our dream vacation and we're already talking about going back. The building is on the older side but the room itself is amazing and has everything you need. We loved having a full kitchen for those times we didn't feel like eating out and the washer and dryer were SO nice to have. The room includes beach chairs, beach towels, a beach umbrella, bodyboards, and a cooler, all of which we used every day and were a HUGE bonus and we couldn't imagine our beach outings and all-day excursions without them. 100% recommend staying here.

High enough so you see a complete ocean view as the lower floors this far back in the building would have a partial view as the building next door would block most of it

Great Stay in Maui!

We had a great stay in Maui. This condo was very clean, comfortable and had a great view of the ocean. We enjoyed having breakfast on the lanai each morning. The condo was well stocked and the building was nice and quiet. Kahana is a great location for exploring - close to Lahaina and several great beaches. There are a few restaurants within walking distance and several within a reasonable drive. The only bad part is having to drive to a beach, and parking can be a bear since most spots are taken up by resorts. There is public parking near all beaches, it is just very limited and fills up quickly. However, we always got lucky and had a great vacation.

Wonderful view of the whales!

We stayed here for 2 weeks in February! I would absolutely recommend this condo to anyone wanting to experience the beauty of Maui for a reasonable price. Clean, quiet area! Fully stocked with everything you need, beach towels, chairs, boogie board, umbrella etc... Pack a swimsuit and a toothbrush and you are on your way. Unfortunately due to mother nature there is no beach directly in front of the unit due to erosion but they are working to rebuild it. There is one very close by so it's really no big deal. Maui brewing company and Dollie's Pizza across the street along with a Whaler's General for anything you may need like snacks or suntan lotion! The view from unit 1002 is gorgeous so bring binoculars so you can watch the whales if you come during whale season!

Great studio, well stocked, everything works, great ocean view!

I manage several condos and have been a guest at many more. I know how difficult it can be to have everything working in the unit. We'll, everything works in this studio. The A/C, shower, all appliances, all amenities. There is a great view of the ocean and you can sit on the Lanai to watch the sunset. The best is the Customer Service. I was moving from another unit in Royal Kahana, and the owners allowed me to move directly from my first unit to their unit. Their unit was cleaned by 11 am, and they allowed me to check in at that time. This was enormously convenient. I wish I could give an extra star just for that. In summary, this is an excellent studio condo. Rent it; you'll love it and its owners.

Excellent place to stay on vacation!

First of all I want to acknowledge what a great hosts Shelly and Dan are. Their communication was very clear and warm, and they were even able to accommodate us with an early check in time!. The unit was clean and awesome, an absolute joy to stay in for our vacation. The balcony has a beautiful view and the location was so convenient with gorgeous beaches just a few minutes drive or walk away.

The view was amazing!

The view to the condo was amazing! We took many treasured and memorable pictures. We love that the condo is within close proximity to many of the local shops and restaurants. The condo was clean and seemed to be well maintained. However, an exterminator needs to spray for bugs all over, especially around the bathroom sink and shower. The condo also needs to be updated to the modern century. Popcorn ceilings in some parts of the condo went out in the 70’s. The iron does not work and the ironing board cover needs replacing. Overall, we would rate the condo a #7, with 10 being the highest.
