I’ll start with the cons; the checkin instructions were confusing, as they were for another property, and not the one we rented. When we arrived we had difficulty with the lockbox, not from user error, but because it had something sticky on it, making it difficult to open. I was expecting a welcome book, displaying the house rules, WiFi info, important contact numbers, local recommendations, etc. but there wasn’t one. We were a little disappointed to see the home did not look like it was cleaned well, a good wipe down of the counters/sinks, vacuum and shark mop could fix! There were ants behind the sink in the kitchen, but after spraying some bug spray found under the sink, that eliminated that problem. The owner informed us when we arrived that the delivery of an ac unit for the master bedroom was expected, it arrived on day 2.Now for the pros; the home is beautiful and spacious. I have to speak about the cozy comfy couch! We all had a nice nap on the couch at some point during our stay! It has a large enclosed yard for young ones to play safely. There were beach items available for use (chairs, umbrella, body boards) The location is not in Turtle Bay, but nearby, in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Beach access is a short walk away. Some recommendations that would elevate this rental would be; making sure the entire home is cleaned well prior to guests arriving, upgrading the bedroom curtains, (the master bedroom window faces the street, at night, cars driving by can
