“Booked a two bed unit here even though I am a solo traveller as it was the same price as a studio but on the booking information it suggested the two bed had an oven as well as a hob. It doesn’t but it does have an electric frying pan. However there is a sign above the kitchen counter saying you should not cook “crayfish, curry, or strong odorous food!!” and there is no extractor fan and dire warnings about not letting the smoke alarm off. The room was warm and cozy which is saying a lot for a North American traveler visiting NZ in the wintertime. John and Deb were always around to answer my questions.
