Saltwater pool is amazing being right on the ocean. The place had everything we needed to enjoy our stay, although we ate local fruit and a lot of rice and spam. centrally located perfectly between town and beaches with a mini mart at the front of the condos.

We very much enjoyed our stay however the bed in the king-size bed the frame was broken and so we contacted the owners and ended up having to remove the frame and I had no results or contact with the actual owners. We just put the frame in the hallway and put the mattress on the floor the bed in the living room Hidee a bed we had an adult single sleeping on it, and it was so uncomfortable that he was unable to do that and had to sleep just as on the couch other than that the unit was clean handy items for beach were provided and we had a wonderful day.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Perfect for what my husband and I needed. Kitchen is well stocked, the patio space is nice to get outdoors, and the space is in a central location, close to all tourist attractions but not too far from the local places we wanted to visit as well. Only downside is no AC but that is common on the island. Fans in all the rooms were helpful in keeping it cool!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the second time we have stayed in this unit. First time was a year ago, not much has changed. We love the lower unit and the complex itself. The saltwater pool is a plus in my opinion. Having an indoor washer and dryer is a plus. We love the location and there is a mini market right in front in case you forgot something. The management company is great to deal with and always accomodating. Can't wait to come back again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Casa de Emdeko! Without hesitation we would stay here again. The condo itself was incredibly well stocked, there were plenty of bath towels, and the kitchen had everything we needed and more: a coffee grinder and coffee maker, Tupperware, dish tabs, and even a few laundry detergent pods. It made settling in so easy. The condo was also generously stocked with beach gear ,chairs, pool noodles, coolers, and boogie boards, which made our beach and pool days effortless and fun.Our 5-year-old absolutely loved sleeping on the pull-out bed and felt so grown up having her own little space. It made the stay extra special for her.The property itself is a true hidden gem. The two pools were so much fun, and we met some incredibly friendly and kind people, especially toward our daughter, which we appreciated so much. The landscaping is stunning, and the little sandy area by the ocean was the perfect place to relax and even whale watch. The only small suggestion would be that the living room rug isn’t really needed. The ceiling fans were great and the blackout blinds awesome! We can’t wait to come back!

We loved our stay here and will definitely look forward to returning the next time we are in Kona. The pool and grounds were fantastic. The bed has a bit of a dip but was still comfortable. Sheets and linens great. We loved that we had all the amenities for spending a day the beach. Two things that were frustrating was that the washing machine (with a light load) would shake so loudly we were worried the neighbors would be disturbed. The other was the bedroom blinds that didn’t close all the way. We had to put a towel over a portion for privacy. Hopefully easy fixes. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay and it was nice and quiet here with the convenience of a store for all our needs in front of the property. Thank you!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There were some cockroaches here but there are cockroaches EVERYWHWERE so no big deal. They were doing some scheduled AC maintenance so we did not have AC for the entire week. I feel that they should have given an advisory so we could have found another property or we should have received reduced rental since the AC was a selling point. It is not too late to di=o that.

Casa De Emdeko review - Sept. 2022

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property is beautiful. The views from the waterfront are spectacular. The room (#105) was clean and appointed with all you need. However, the bed was horrible! It has a crater in the middle. You cannot help but to roll down to the center. Get a new one! The signage to the place was lacking as well. Arriving in the dark was impossible to know where to turn. We passed it a few times before figuring out where to enter.
