  • Wonderful Kalani Kai condo that's located in the heart of Kailua-Kona. Walking Distance to Everywhere in Town!

    Tiled throughout, No carpet! You'll appreciate a remodeled fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, good quality cabinets,
    Dishwasher, Stove, Fridge, Washer/Dryer, Wifi, Cable TV all included! Air Conditioning Wall Unit in Living Room Only, not in the Bedroom.

    This first floor condo has views of a lush tropical garden! The Interior space has been extended, so it's a bit larger than other units because the lanai has been removed. There are sliders that open, but no lanai space as a FYI.

    A parking space that's close to the front door as well!

    Kalani Kai calls has a wonderful pool deck that is finished in beautiful stonework. A community grilling area contributes to the tropical lifestyle and it's practically right outside your front door.

    It's just a short walk to Kailua Pier, shopping, restaurants and night life on Alii Drive.

    The owners of Unit#109 want to provide the best service possible for their guests.
    Knutson & Associates will offer guests who book Unit#109 the following additional services as a benefit, to you, the guest!
    1. You have a complimentary concierge service to make Restaurant/Activity Reservations if you so desire to utilize
    2. Need us to go grocery shopping or pick up certain items from the store before you arrive? We can ensure everything is in the property waiting for you upon your arrival! (Additional Service Charge May Apply)
    3. Any guests who book 14 nights or longer will receive a Fruit Basket upon their arrival as a gift from the owner.
    4. Face to Face Arrival/Departure Experience Offered Complimentary! All guests who book Kalani Kai #109have the option of meeting Property Management Staff upon their arrival to go over property specifics. We will turn on any fans/lights and ensure you enter into a comfortable inviting environment!

This property was very comfortable and had everything we needed from the kitchen to the closet full of beach and snorkel gear. We really enjoyed the beautiful shared garden space and pool areas. This is a great location convenient to shopping, the beach, and other attractions.

We had a wonderful time and the property and condo was great. Air conditioning was good, however it would be nice for a unit in bedroom. A few things that would really enhance the unit: We stayed for eight days and the sofa and chairs got a little uncomfortable but overall ok. On your next upgrade it would be nice to upgrade the tub into a tiled shower, just for thought.

Kona Stay

Best property to stay at with everything you need! We were so grateful for all the beach stuff that was available to use! Clean and quiet area! Super close to everything! Highly recommend this to anyone visiting Kona!

Excellent for family

We stayed for 4 nights and this place was equipped with literally everything we use in our own house. It felt like home away from home. Our family had a great time

Clean and well supplied property. We were close to the pool and grills. We were disappointed that there was no AC in the bedroom, only in the living room, and it was very hot.

Everything was excellent except for the air conditioning situation. We had to have the living room freezing with all the fans running so the bedroom was good to sleep in. With the AC running all the time to keep the front part of the living area cool, it made the it too cold in living room and way too noisy. The TV had to be so loud just to hear. That is the only thing needing work and would keep us from renting again. Ha by big said that, if you don’t mind a warm bedroom at night, it may not be a problem for you. I must say this is a great location and only a 3 min walk to Ali’i. And the pool is very nice as well.

Great place, pros - goodie bag waiting for you to get you started. Everything you could need for the beach. Very good instructions how to get there. Binder with local addresses of places of interest and more. Con - several people were getting sick after getting in the pool including us. Its supposed to be saltwater but I didnt even know that by getting in.

Close to the center and the beach. A cozy apartment that had everything you need for life and relaxation. My favorite place in this apartment was on the balcony by the window through which there was a great view of the plants. We were very pleasantly surprised by the gift left for us in Hawaiian style.

Place was located 5 minute walk from the waterfront area. Felt very safe. The pool was nice. Close to grocery stores. Kitchen and grill near the pool. Stuff to borrow for the beach. Rental company very responsive. I would rent here again

Very clean upon arrival, even had goodie bags on the desk along with all the instructions qhich were easy to follow. Has all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Variety of shops and the beach, a walking distance from this location. Chairs, umbrella, mats, snorkeling equipment… even sunscreen are provided, everything you need for a day at the beach. My teenaged son slept on the pull out sofa bed, found it suprisingly comfortable. Very pleased with my stay. Highly recommend!

Perfect spot for a long stay!

Great place! Really appreciated having access to beach blanket, cooler and chairs. Well thought out accommodation. Wish we had stayed longer. Nice pool and bbq area clean :) (Could use an extra set of coffee mugs and maybe some sugar as that’s a pain to buy, but appreciated the coffee filters. )

Great Spot

This was the second time we've stayed here and the first under the new management company. Communication and check-in were great and flawless. Properity is as described, nice not busy pool area that's close to condo, all the beach gear you need (chairs, umbrella, coolers). Lot's of great restaurants within walking distance, Lava Java and Papa Kona are excellent. Would i stay here again, yes!

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place was great! Had everything we needed and it was close to everything in Kona. My only frustration was the unbelievable number of emails we received prior to our stay. If you really like over communication then this is your place, but at some point, I just had to laugh. Having to sift through all the different bits of communication to find the pieces of information that were important became difficult after there were probably over two dozen emails.
