If I could give this condo more stars I would! This is probably the most well equipped VRBO that we have ever stayed in. The kitchen is well appointed with cookware, utensils, and dinnerware. The bathroom has nice thick bath towels, and washcloths with extra located in the closet. They also provide very nice beach/pool towels for your use. The condo is beautifully decorated with convenient cable and Wi-Fi available. The views from the balcony are spectacular and we spent many a morning and evening enjoying watching the surfers, whales and dolphins, paddlers, and the occasional cruise ship not to mention the absolutely spectacular sunsets. The heated pool was a rare treat and we always had the pool to ourselves at 8 AM. The walk into town for dinner, drinks and shopping was just a quick jaunt. It is easy to get in and out of two tour the rest of the island and we always had a covered parking space when we returned in the evening. Management was very communicative and quick to respond to any questions we had. We will definitely be coming back to this gem of a condo!

Kona Reef D17 is a fabulous location, super clean, beautiful decor and well maintained and thought out rental. The sound of the waves and the unobstructed view is magnificent. The bed was glorious after our long days in the sun. I would definitely stay here again. This is a great find.

Wonderful, clean, and convenient property. The view was outstanding and everything you could need is there. Pool and hot tub facilities were awesome as well!Communications were great. Great choice if you're staying in Kona!

First time in Hawai'i

D17 was exactly as advertised. It was comfortable with amazing views from the lanai. There is no substitute for being right on the water. Aloha and Mahalo.

Kona Reef was awesome

We had an excellent stay at this place during our week in Kona. Centrally located within walking distance to restaurants and shops was great. The place was clean and well stocked and the views to watch the amazing sunsets and the comet were unbelievable.

Relaxing Vacation

We had an amazing relaxing vacation. The location of this condo is ideal. Walking distance to lots of restaurants, shops and bars. The condo has everything you need and the view of the ocean is breathtaking. Would definitely stay here again.

Stunning location

We couldn't have asked for a better location. Property is located immediately adjacent to the shore with waves crashing on lava, a small sand beach nearby and a short walk to restaurants and shopping. The condo was wonderful - well stocked, clean, air conditioned and perfect for our anniversary celebration. Thanks Michele and Brian.

Incredible property. Beautiful view. Excellent Hosts.

What can we say other than this was one of our best getaways. From the very beginning our hosts were excellent to work with. The unit is in great shape and the view spectacular. Our hosts reached out to us when we were there and helped with ideas for things to do and sights to see. We were exceptionally lucky in that the Volcano erupted and we were able to do a fly over. The unit itself is beautifully finished and in great shape. Everything we needed to cook or bbq was there. The view from the lanai was amazing and we enjoyed appys and drinks every evening watching the sun go down. The grounds and pool area are well maintained. The bbq area was a great place to cook and meet other guests not to mention well equipped with 4 large bbq’s. All and all it was definitely one of our better getaways and we will hopefully be returning again next season. Thank you again to our hosts for the opportunity to rent their amazing property and for all the little perks that made this trip so special.

Kona Getaway

The property is accurately described on VRBO. The photos of the view do not do it justice. The condo is waterfront and you could throw a stone and hit the ocean. You have an uninterrupted view of the sunsets every night. When needed the A/C worked flawlessly. The kitchen is well equipped and the bed is comfortable. We picked this condo because of its location. It is off Allii drive so there is very little traffic noise. It is also easy walking distance to downtown .The owners, Brian and Michelle we very attentive and great to deal with. I would highly recommend their condo to any couple wanting to stay in Kona. Mahalo!

Clean, comfortable, convenient, perfect!

A week here was just what the doctor ordered. The condo is very well stocked with everything you need - and has been upgraded. All of the amenities are nice and modern. Easy walk to restaurants, the farmer’s market and shops. Free parking, and a beautiful ocean front view and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else on island. It was the perfect stay.

25th Anniversary

The condo was AMAZING! There was every amenity you can think of (besides your usuals)… beach chairs, umbrella, two size coolers to use plus other items for the water). Very clean not to mention…the view was priceless! We had our coffee on the lanai watching the local surfers plus a couple of cruise ships that docked. Location was great and within walking distance of restaurants and shops! Rita was amazing to work with and SUPER hospitable. If you want quiet and relaxation… thus is your place! Would so recommend this condo. Aloha!!

Perfect stay, felt like home.

This condo was everything and more for my boyfriend and I! We stayed for 4 nights and felt really sad to leave. There’s so much space and it pretty much had everything we needed. As soon as you walk in and open the curtains to the lanai… the most gorgeous view.

Gorgeous sunsets from lanai!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Kona Reef D17. The views from the balcony were amazing. Great for morning coffee and evening cocktails! We watched surfers, dolphins, and turtles. The sunsets never disappointed! Michele was wonderful answering questions and giving advice on area dining and activities. Easy walk into Kona for dinner or shopping. Highly recommend this condo!

The view was spectacular! Nicely furnished condo. We really enjoyed the little beach next door. Good snorkeling, but entry is tricky (rocks and urchins).
