Quiet and comfortable

Overall stay was great. The unit was clean, comfortable and it was tucked away from all the noisy places by closer to downtown.

Our entire stay was made better by our place at the Kona Mansions. It is a beautiful property and all the best has gone into making the accommodations superb!! It was a great location as well, central to everything and quiet with lush and beautiful landscape. We loved the pool, very nice common area for BBQ and patio dining. Because of my husband’s arthritis those 3 flights of stairs were definitely a lot for him. An elevator would have been helpful.

Overall, pretty awesome! Only things I can think about is the fire alarm is kinda touchy and the pool isn’t heated if you are cool with that. Great stay, location and parking.

Return to the big island

Roomy , clean, good location, nice pool area but the pool might have benefited from a solar cover, great place to watch whales from the lanai would definitely return!

Loved staying here. It is so close to the main road making it easy to navigate around. Lived the coffee provided. We did not cook but there was plenty if we wanted too. Bed was comfortable. Would recommend.

A great place in a perfect location for walking to beaches, shops and restaurants! It was also easy to come and go as we traveled around the island. The communication was timely and detailed. The apartment was clean, well kept and had all needed supplies. Highly recommend!

Absolutely Beautiful!

Great Property! Great Location! Quiet, ocean views, walking distance to the beach and downtown. Newly renovated and very clean. And the little extras (beach chairs, cooler, ice packs, What to do on the Big Island books, etc) made our stay definitely feel like a home away from home! Would absolutely recommend staying here!

Great place

Loved the location, clean and welcoming home. The only thing I wish was the kitchen knives that has slight rust on it was cleaned or something.

Nice Stay Overall

Good location, walking distance to the beaches and shops. Sunset and ocean views from the lanai. The kitchen is well appointed and the bed is very comfortable. We had a plumbing issue on our first day and it was quickly remediated by the property manager.There is a bit of traffic noise because of it's proximity to Kuakini Highway.

Great Place to Stay

This condo was a great place to stay during our vacation! Close enough to walk to popular restaurants/shopping. Very clean and great communication during booking. The pool was a nice feature as well. It is on the third floor with no elevator which did not bother us but just to note. Would recommend this place to friends and family!

Kona Mansions

We stayed for 2 weeks whilst competing in the Ironman World Champs. The property was just as per the listing, very well appointed, clean and tidy. Easy to walk down the Pier along Ali'i Drive. Parking access via Kuakini made getting about easy. Located on the 3rd level meant it was peaceful and quiet. I would happily stay there again.

Nice condo.

Very nice condo - well equipped and clean. The lanai is not big enough to sit out on and enjoy but worked well having the door open for fresh air. Excellent location to be close to things without being in the mix of things.

Lovely condo - great location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The condo is within walking distance of great shopping and beautiful views of the ocean. That being said, there is a lot of traffic. The owners of this condo have thought of everything! The condo is well-stocked and even the towels were as soft as clouds! I highly recommend this place.

Nice property

Nice property. Clean and well stocked - everything you need in the kitchen and for beach time! You can see the ocean from the room but it is a bit of a hike to get to it (all downhill so uphill all the way back). Be aware there is no elevator - we missed that in the posting but were ok with stairs - thank goodness.

Met all our expectations

After a poor outdated experience in Honolulu, this unit was refreshing and the service/ details were perfect! It’s been 30 years since we were on the Big Island but we are planning our next visit! Thank you! I super appreciated the washer and dryer in the unit!!!
