  • Nestled next to the Kona Country Club Golf Course, this one-bedroom plus den, two-bath condo at the Keauhou Palena complex offers a cozy retreat for your Big Island vacation. Take a quick dip in the pool located just outside, or go for a stroll down the road and enjoy the Pacific waters at the Keauhou Beach Park & Boat Ramp. Also not too far is Kahalu'u Beach Park, known for great snorkeling and learning how to surf. While enjoying Keauhou's beaches, watch for green sea turtles basking in the sun or for spinner dolphins and migrating whales in the winter. Hawaiian Paradise

Came to the island for our son’s wedding and stayed here for an additional 11nights following the wedding ceremony. Really enjoyed this location as it had great amenities onsite and was a great place to use as a home base while we explored the island. The kitchen had many supplies on hand and the cookware was amazing. Will definitely look to stay here again.

Sweet Spot

I had a week-long stay in this unit. I loved the vibe of it!! The location is amazing and everything you need to make your trip fun was available. The pier where you can swim is within walking distance, a grocery store, cool famers marker on set days, most of the activities you might book and great areas for walking, running or biking. Book this sweet spot in Kona!!

Quiet relaxing condo

We were glad to come back to this area. This unit is in the second floor and the building is across the pool. Which meant, that you can spend time on the balcony without worrying about the golf balls flying around. That was important to us. Building is next to the street but we had no issues with any noise from the road. We had a problem with the dishwasher and Paul took care of it and it was fixed fast. Air-conditioning was in each room, it was on the wall. It worked great and quietly. We love to stay in this area and will definitely come back here. This condo had everything, even the stuff for the beach. We enjoyed our stay and we recommend this.

모든것이 잘 갖춰진 편안한 집

처음에 도착하자마자 반했어요. 모든것이 정돈되어 있고 작은것 하나까지 잘 갖춰져있어요. 이렇게 잘 구비되어있는줄 알았다면 나의 여행가방 하나가 줄었을거예요. 거의 모든것이 갖추어져있으니 몸만 오세요! 걸어서 Keauhou 쇼핑센터까지 다닐 수 있어서 편하고 객실에서 수영장을 바라보고 있어서 우리가족 프라이빗 풀 같았어요. 넓은 라나이 왼쪽으로 멀리 바다가 보이는 것은 정말 행복했어요. I fell in love as soon as I first arrived. Everything is organized and well-equipped, down to the smallest detail. If I had known it was so well-equipped, I would have packed one less piece of my suitcase. Almost everything is provided, you can come with nothing! It was convenient to walk to the Keauhou Shopping Center, and the room looked out onto the pool, so it felt like our family's private pool. I was really happy to see the ocean far to the left of the wide lanai.

An amazing condo! For a mom with three kids, the fully equipped kitchen was a 100 out of 10! What’s more, it had everything needed for the beach (chairs, a mask and fins, water shoes, towels, an umbrella, and even inflatable floats for the little ones and a waterproof phone case for underwater photos!). Morning coffee on the balcony—with a beautiful view of both the ocean and the pool, plus the visiting birds—really made my mornings. There is a KTA store just a five-minute walk away at the plaza (offering an amazing selection of breakfast pastries, a huge variety of poke bowls, and more). I am so glad I stumbled upon this last-minute booking. Paul, the manager, was incredibly kind and welcoming; he called to confirm the reservation just half an hour after I booked and said he would try to get the condo ready before the standard 3:00 PM check-in time (since our flight was landing at 9:35 AM). Sure enough, by noon, we were already snorkeling at the beach with the kids! Thank you!

Paul Saves The Day(s)

My husband needed to be able to finish a paper he was writing in between beach visits. The internet was constantly crashing, and had to be rebooted many times in one day. Finally in desperation , we called Paul, the property manager. He was AMAZING. Apparently the router and modem were ancient. Paul made a trip to Spectrum in the evening, with traffic, in the rain , to upgrade the equipment so my husband could continue with his project. Yeah, Paul!

Review of Keauhou Palena

First of all condo was close to the loud busy street There had to be other available units in a better location. The condo was old and needed updating badly. There was an electric bbq on the lanai and when I bought an expensive steak dinner the bbq didn't work. If bbqs are not permitted then why does the downstairs condo have a Weber on their lanai? The loud machines for the landscapeing were relentless everyday. Also in three nights in a row there was a police, ambulance and firetruck, and someone fired off 10 rapid rounds with what sounded like a 9mm pistol very close to our unit!!!

Great rental. Clean, safe, quiet and comfortable. Everything you could want in a rental.

We would stay there again if we were returning to Hawaii. It was very well supplied with all of the extra things you might need to enjoy this lovely Island getaway. Well done!

Happy in paradise

This lovely condo had many thoughtful touches to make our stay wonderful and comfortable. The tropical decor made us feel that we were truly on vacation. The thought-provoking books were just right for a bit of relaxation. Although I was there to write more of my book, my husband and I also took time to do a bit of sightseeing. Paul was great to work with. We loved this place! Thank you.
