Location was great and close to bay with great view from master bedroom. Enjoyed sunsets each night. Unit was a little aged but clean and beds were comfortable. One bedroom has A/C and master does not, but we were comfortable with breeze and fans. Also the scuba gear and beach chairs weee nice to have provided by the unit. Key to pool gate did not work but we weee able to get key from local property manager soall was well.

The location was supreme- just a short walk to a snorkel friendly beach and a 2 mile walk to a boogie board friendly beach. The condo was clean and inviting. It was really nice to have access to snorkel gear and beach chairs, etc. (We contributed a couple of boogie boards.) The building is very clean and quiet and sound does carry, but we didnt have any noisy neighbors, or complaints. We enjoyed using the pool and saving money by using the BBQ a few nights, instead of dining out. This is a great place to stay if you visit Kona. There were 4 of us and there was plenty of room and privacy.

Ideal location for beach access/excellent snorkeling. The unit we stayed in was roomy, very clean and had beach equipment/towels for guest use. The property manager was very responsive although we had a little trouble at first finding the unit and getting in as we arrived after hours in the dark and the address given to us wasn’t the exact address so GPS ended in the middle of a busy road. Now that we have stayed there and know what to do, we would definitely stay there again-

Perfect location! Excellent property!!

I booked this location without knowing much about Kona. This property and the location turned out to be absolutely perfect. The condo was a nice size for our family of six. Property was clean and nice. I woke up every morning with the most beautiful view of palm trees and the ocean in front of me as I lay in bed. I love all of the lanais. The property is really quiet, which was nice. Parking was great. The closet is filled with equipment for activities. We had enough masks, snorkels, and fins for snorkeling, beach, chairs, and beach umbrellas. There’s a great snorkeling reef that is one block from the condo. We would walk down And go snorkeling in the morning. So awesome! The property management company was very communicative with me and made everything very easy. I would highly recommend this property!!

Spacious property with nice view

Beautiful location and views! We enjoyed the outdoor space and sitting on the balcony to watch the sunset. Property is older and could use some updates and a good deep clean. Dishwasher and washing machine work well. The communication with the property manager was poor. 3 days before arrival they informed me I needed to sign a rental agreement before check-in information could be sent, which is fine. I then requested the agreement be sent to me (as I never received it or could not find it). After multiple texts, emails, and voice messages left at the provided number they finally respond to us the morning of check-in. Once we receive the needed information, the check-in process was easy.

I’d stay here again!

We loved everything about this property. It is in a nice neighborhood. It has 4 outdoor seating areas/decks. The master bedroom has a great view of the ocean. There is a grocery store and some restaurants 1 minute away. There is a great place to snorkel right across the street and the owner has several sets of snorkeling gear (masks, snorkels, fins, water shoes) that renters can use as well as beach chairs, umbrellas, and coolers. This place has everything you need for a great vacation. Only one bedroom has air conditioning but I was comfortable using the fan and sleeping with the sliding doors open. Great location! Roomy and comfortable

We loved being across from Kahaluu. The condo had a great layout. The Master bedroom needs a set of drawers. Also, the kitchen needs some updating. New pots, pans, some kitchen essentials. Otherwise, comfy and relaxing!

Sunsets from the lanai and the beach steps away!

Wonderful location here, Kahalu'u is a great beach for snorkeling and easy surfing. The condo overlooks all of this and was a great home base for exploring the Kona coast!

Huge Space, Lots To Do

The keyless entry is a little tricky, but the place itself is huge -- lots of space to spread out, many lanai spaces (though the screen doors universally need new rollers). We spent mornings on the lanai, watching birds we'd never seen before in the palm trees on site, saw mongooses and many sweet cats in the parking lot. Very lovely place, close to a park. The one drawback: no AC except in one bedroom, though the breezes and fans certainly helped.

Family vacation

Great location next to a snorkeling beach. This property worked perfect for our family of 6 as we had everything we needed to enjoy the island. We really only slept here and ate breakfast as we used this location as our hub to explore. Sunsets were great on the lanai and the ocean breezes kept it very comfortable at night. Communication with the hosts were timely and I would definitely recommend this location/hosts for any families wanting to explore the big island.

Amazing stay

Apartment was very spacious and has a great location. Beach is very close. Pool is also great. Apartment and furniture is a little older, but everything is very high quality and was well kept. The only thing that was missing sometimes was an AC unit, which was only available in one bedroom this was not a big problem for us though. We will come back

Perfect location, Amazing view!

The master suite was absolute paradise! A corner unit with sliding doors on both sides, where you could listen to the ocean, the birds, and enjoy the most amazing view. Very spacious living room, and enclosed outdoor eating area. Being so close to the best snorkeling beach on the whole island, it was so nice just to walk there without having to worry about valuables.

Kona Dreams

We were transfixed by the amazing sunsets on our porch and made it a point to be in our spacious accommodations at that point in the day. Thank you for a wonderful time. We each had our own suite and the lanais offered privacy and a place to feast. The screened in area was great and all of the rooms were open to the beautiful breezes. The icing on the cake was walking down to the beach with amazing snorkeling…really amazing, turtles and all. Finally, from a spiritual lens being right above a Heiau as we reflected on the day was beautiful.

Great location

This place is perfect for 2 couples or small family. Very large patios and lots of space for all. Nice pool and bbq area. Front bedroom is ideal with views and breeze. Back bedroom is ok with ac. Right in the middle of everything Cons: Dreaded ants got into everything Pricey so look at different rental sights for different prices.

minutes walk from snorkeling at kahaluu bay

easy check-in. clean unit. were only provided with a minimum of TP, scented laundry pods, & dishwasher pods. two dining chairs had broken arms. one bar stool was quite wobbly. no roasting pan, cooktop cleanser, nor wine glasses; requested and all were supplied two days later. wall oven LED virtually unreadable, but oven worked. wall microwave did not work, but second (countertop) microwave did. numerous lanais; one with ocean/sunset view. variety of snorkeling equipment provided. no paper/cardboard/wine bottle recycling. no jacuzzi. new gas grill.
