Great location! Feels very safe, especially with the gate closing in the evening. The apartment was clean, and stocked with the basics which was nice. Communication with the host was really easy. Gorgeous pool as well. This is our 3rd stay here and we will be coming back.

Heart of Kailua

Great location, and great home base for families! It was so nice having 3 full baths!! Even got to catch some great sunsets from the lanai!

Kona Alii 512

Nice condo and we enjoyed the location as it was central to many of the restaurants and we walked to dinner every night. The shopping was convenient as well.

Great location, good facility

We especially enjoyed the location of the property, close to everything in Kona, and short walking distance to many of the places that we wanted to frequent. The swimming pool area is very nice and not at all over-used. Residents of the facility were generally very friendly.

Perfect spot!

Perfectly centralized spot for the island. We could walk to restaurants and shops with ease. Check in and out was a piece of cake. The place was nice and clean and even had some beach stuff we could use. Overall great experience.

Great stay

This property was everything that it posted. Great central location for food, views and nightlife. Rooms were very nice and building was very clean. A bit noisy at night if you have little ones due to the restaurants with music nearby but overall was a great stay.

We had a wonderful vacation in Hawaii and the condo was perfect! The location is ideal! Just a 5 minute walk to farmer’s market, restaurants, shopping, beaches and more. Communication was clear with regular updates leading up to and throughout the stay! Kitchen was well equipped and bbq area was great! Very clean! Kids loved the loft! We hope to be back soon!

Queen Lil Racing

Perfect location for heading down to race site. Didn’t need a rental as there are so many food and shopping options near the condo. Fit 6 women comfortably. Great experience.

Great Location in Kona

The Kona Ali’i condo is perfectly located with sunset views and Hawaiian plumeria and BBQ aromas! We were able to walk to dinner each evening and parking was included in our stay! The building is aging a bit and the unit doesn’t have AC, so be aware if you’re traveling in the hotter months, but the location and responsiveness of the management makes up for those tiny concerns. We would certainly stay at this location again!

Kona comfort

We were very pleased with the condo. Great location - close to water, restaurants and shops. It was well outfitted with supplies - dishes, linens - even beach toys. The only slight negative was the the washer didn't not work well and the dryer left the contents damp. We were told these are being replaced. Management was responsive to inquiries and very helpful. Would highly recommend this VRBO.

Great location but a dated property

Whilst the property was functional the furniture and general look was very dated. The mezzanine bedroom was good but no curtains of any note so prepare to not sleep well. The showers were fine but not f you’re 6ft then aren’t high enough on the wall. The pool was good and overall we had a great time on the island

Ocean Front Property

Great location within walking distance to lots of restaurants and shops. There is one designated covered parking spot next to the building. There is no A/C, but several fans available. The washer and dryer are very small, but worked well. The property management company is not available by phone or text outside of business hours.

Tha condo was as described. There are a few things I would improve on. The downstairs bedroom could use blackout curtains due to the light coming in from the outside hallway. The AC unit leaked when turned on, so we had to put bowls on floor to catch the water. We were unable to operate the ceiling fans in the kitchen area, perhaps remotes needed new batteries. Some of the seats of the dining room chairs were in need of repair.On the positive, we chose this place because both bedrooms had king beds. Having a third full bath was nice. The balcony was a good size for the four of us to sit in the morning with coffee.The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and cooking supplies. Even after asking ahead of time, we were surprised to find beach chairs. to use. Overall it met our needs, but when you’re in Hawaii, you spend most of your time outdoors.

Great location

Location in downtown Kona is a choice! Great restaurants and farmers market steps awayWell stocked kitchenware, towels, beach chairs though I think that equipment variesDated but in good repair (sliding doors are sticky but ALL beachfront properties only have smooth doors for the first 6 hours they are installedThe choice location is also its downfall— it’s not quiet, so if you aren’t into hearing town noises, trucks, kids playing soccer next door, it might not be ideal.Didn’t bother me one bit, we had a fabulous time.No a/c but fans work well and nice breeze on lanai (I never use a/c anyway but thought it might be useful info)Communication with managers was smoothEverything went smoothly

Upstairs shower didn't work

It was perfectly fine, except the upstairs shower has some issue where the hot water is just a trickle, so it is unusable. Luckily, the second bathroom downstairs has a shower, but it is not as convenient.

Great location

This was a great location—plenty of restaurants and stores. Farmer's market was right down the street. Great view of the ocean and the mountains. There was a really good saltwater pool that we swam in every day. The maintenance guy kept a good eye on the property which made us feel safer because there are some homeless people in this area. There was snorkel equipment and boogie boards in the room which was a good treat. The only negative is that some of the electrical appliances such as the fans didn't work and also there was a leak in the shower door which got water all over the floor. Also, it should be noted that most condos in Hawaii do not have A/C and this condo is no exception. It's not a huge deal because the weather is always nice and the rooms are designed to maximize airflow. All in all, I would stay here again

Good location, great views and spacious

Rented for three nights with my brother and it fit our needs. The second story room was loft style, which we didn’t realize, but luckily we both woke up at the same time. Location can’t be beat! security of the building and parking was really nice.
