I strongly recommend a stay here if the Volcano National Park is in your plans. …or one could choose to stay at Volcano House for hundreds of dollars more plus having to buy all your meals! “The grounds were amazing. We were allowed to pick our own fruits like papaya, sapote, banana, mountain apple, avocado, cacao, etc. The property was clean and cozy, and the outdoor shower was very nice. Only downside was a couple of loud coqui frogs at night, and it was a bit of a drive to Hilo.”
