“I like that the property was private and the house was well kept. I would have liked some usable options for toiletries especially body wash. And maybe opt for very small tooth paste so which can be disposed after few uses. I did not like using the tooth paste that was already used up by some stranger. The fridge is a wine fridge but it's huge and was plenty big enough for our needs. Tons of room, excellent bathroom, comfortable bed, wifi, large tv. Easy access to Havelock and Queen Charlotte Sound, Blenheim, Picton, and Rapara Beach (no good for swimming but awesome ruggedness), plus heaps of wineries to explore.”

“This house has the qualities of a classic Kiwi bach, with some well-conceived improvements. The view onto the water is stunning, and the extended deck plus generous windows and ranch sliders make allowed us to enjoy this on fine and wet days. “We stayed here with our extended family over a long weekend. The views from the bach were the main reason why we booked and they did not disappoint. The cleanliness of the Bach was not great on arrival, it was clear that only a surface level clean had been done for some time. The bunk bed is very squeaky, which didn’t help when trying to get the kids to sleep. Good location with only a short walk to the jetty and waterfront. ”

The home was rxtremely clean and had a very well stocked kitchen (dishes, pots and pans, serving bowls, utensils) for preparing meals. We used the kayaks and loved it.
