Welcome to Crawford Lake, where your vacation can be as active or relaxing as you want it to be. This spacious 5-bedroom, 3.5-bath lakefront home sleeps up to 14 guests and is designed especially well for families, multiple families and groups traveling together.

The highlight is right outside your door. Enjoy your own sandy beach and private dock, launch a kayak for a morning paddle, spend the afternoon swimming or fishing, or simply relax along the shoreline. Guests have use of 2 kayaks, a canoe and stand-up paddleboard, with life jackets provided. Bringing your own boat? The property also has access to the boat launch immediately next door.

One of the home's best features for larger groups is its unique layout. The two sections of the home provide extra space and privacy, with two full kitchens, two living rooms, two laundry areas and separate thermostats. Each living room also has a TV with Roku, so families can spread out rather than having everyone crowded into one common area.

Sleeping arrangements:

• Bedroom 1: Queen bed

• Bedroom 2: Full bed, crib and pullout toddler bed

• Bedroom 3: Full bed and 2 bunk beds

• Bedroom 4: Queen bed

• Bedroom 5: Full bed and futon

The home is particularly family-friendly. You'll find children's toys, books, puzzles and games inside, along with beach toys and games for enjoying the lake. A crib and toddler bed make traveling with younger children easier.

When you're ready to slow things down, grill dinner outside, enjoy the lakefront patio or gather around the fire pit for s'mores and an evening by the water.

Crawford Lake gives you plenty to do without ever leaving the property, while also providing a great home base for exploring Northern Michigan. Spend your days on the lake or venture out to Traverse City, Torch Lake, Hartwick Pines State Park, Sleeping Bear Dunes, the Manistee River, Petoskey, Leland or even Mackinac Island.

Whether you're bringing the kids for a week at the lake, vacationing with another family or gathering several generations under one roof, this home gives you the space to be together and enough room to spread out.

Guests have private access to the entire home and property during their stay, including both living areas, both kitchens, both laundry areas, the yard, lakefront patio, sandy beach and private dock.

Your stay also includes use of 2 kayaks, a canoe and stand-up paddleboard, along with life jackets. Beach toys and games are available for the kids. Please wear the provided life jackets when using the watercraft.

Bringing a boat? A boat launch is located immediately next to the property. Although it is not a public launch, this property has the right to use it during your stay. Please keep vehicles and trailers clear of the launch area.

Parking is available in the driveway and by parallel parking in front of the house. Please do not park in the yard, which is part of the home's septic drain field, or block the boat launch or trash cans.

While we are not available on site, we are only a phone call away for any advice on local knowledge, things to do, etc!

This is a family-owned lake home, and we ask guests to treat the property, lake and surrounding neighborhood with care.

Waterfront: The home sits directly on Crawford Lake with a sandy beach and dock. Please supervise children around the lake and use appropriate caution around the water. Life jackets are provided for use with the kayaks, canoe and paddleboard.

Pets: Pets are permitted only with prior approval. Approved pets must be kept off furniture and beds.

Beach towels: Four beach towels are provided. Larger groups should plan to bring additional beach towels. Please do not use the home's bath towels at the beach.

Boat launch: Guests have access to the boat launch immediately next to the property. Please do not park vehicles or trailers in the launch area.

Grill: A propane grill and two propane tanks are provided, but propane is not guaranteed/provided. Empty tanks can be exchanged locally if needed.

Quiet hours: Quiet hours are from 9 PM to 8 AM. Parties and events are not permitted.

Pets: Pets are permitted only with prior approval. Approved pets must be kept off furniture and beds.

No smoking: Smoking is not permitted inside or outside the home.
