“We had amazing stay at Ubuntu. From manager to housekeeping all staffs were helpful. This place puts customer service above all. Shout out to Vishaw, Indika and kitchen staff for going above and beyond. Besides great staff, hotel is located at quaint beach where you can spot turtles at night. They even had baby turtle releasing event in the evening. Overall I highly recommend this boutique hotel. We had great experience. ”

“Maison à l'écart du centre ville (un petit km de marche pour rejoindre le bus qui se rend à Galle pour une poignée de roupies) et donc calme....Chambre très pratique avec petit frigo et ventilateur et surprise même de l'eau chaude..... Chats et chiens très fatigués et parfois avec 3 pattes.....Petit coin pour jouer au ping-pong.....On a passé 3 nuits et si on avait pas réservé à Negombo la suite on serait resté 2 jours de plus sans souci.... “Stayed for two weeks in September 2023. For starters, the host family at Talalla Freedom are wonderful. Helpful, friendly, adjusted to my food allergies, went over and beyond. Rs 250 for a pot of fresh tea. The pool is lovely and well kept, the view and access to Talalla beach is phenomenal (as long as you don't have any mobility issues. Beds are Sri Lanka firm but comfy. You can sit in a nice recliner with your tea and watch the monkeys walk by. The birds in the area are beautiful. Be aware...
