They gave me a tour of the ryokan and provided me with instructions about the amenities and services. I love that my room had a sunset view over the pond. I had a relaxing time doing my readings on the porch. I opted to include meals with my stay. They let me choose the times for my dinner and breakfast. It was my first kaiseki experience...

“ホテル改装中というアナウンスがホームページに全くなかった。室内は塗装の匂いが残り、シャワートイレは機能しない(スタッフに連絡)。駐車スペースは殊の外狭く、しかも資材を積まれ身動きできないほど。これで1泊1万はあまりに高い。 ”

“客室露天風呂は外から丸見えで、かなり気を使わなければならない。その対策としてビニール系カーテン等で視界を隠す配慮などされていましたが、思ったような効力はなかった。（風のせいでもありますが）。 あと、きちんと部屋に置かれている説明書を見れば解決しますが、お湯がでなくなる事があります。 ユーザー側が施設のちょっとした不自由に歩み寄らなければならない点はいくつかありましたが、概ね良かったです。”
