Mauna Lani is a beautiful resort. The golf villas are set back into the resort. It's about a 5 minute drive to the beach club. The villa is a very short walk to the pool. It looks out over the golf course.The Villa itself is well stocked and spacious. Our family of 5 had plenty of room to spread out. The villa is clean and well kept. We would definitely stay here again. We had a wonderful time!

Overall, this is a nice property. The golf villas at Mauna Lani is a lovely community, well kept, with a very pretty (smallish) pool area. It is a fair distance to the shops, so not really walking distance to anything. You will definitely need a car to get to the beach or shops. The unit itself is very nice, although we all felt like the couch could use a deep clean. Our main issues while there were cockroaches and lack of beach equipment. For the first two or three days of our stay, we had a congregation of cockroaches greeting us in the foyer, kitchen, and downstairs bedroom. Upon contacting the property management company, we were informed that a pest control treatment had been applied the day before our arrival which would result in increased pest activity. This was very unfortunate. They did subside, as we were told, but it was very unpleasant. The property management company was very responsive, but there wasn't much they could do. Then there was the issue of lack of beach equipment. We have stayed at many properties in the Mauna Lani area, and never have we encountered a property that was so poorly equipped with beach stuff. 2 umbrellas (both broken), 3 chairs (two of which had broken carrying straps), a bag of beach toys, no boogie boards, no snorkelling equipment. I was told by the property mgmnt company that they did not provide beach equipment because of liability issues. So strange. This is a beach vacation property. The condo is spacious and the lanai lovely.

Spacious property with great light and cross breeze. Lovely plantings and view of the mountain. Management company was very responsive when we needed little things, and they took care of them right away. We wish there had been more beach equipment; that was our only complaint.

We had excellent communication with the property manager. The location of the property was good, and the complex was quiet. With 2 small children we had to use a vehicle to get to the beach, but there was a nice pool area in the complex. We did find a few minor but noticeable issues with the property. We were six people with only 5 dining chairs inside. There were no tea towels. The main floor bedroom closet doors were not on track and we couldn't find a simple fix. The device to open the bedroom blinds was broken as well. One of the drawers contained men's clothes. It would have been nice to have a lounger or two on the lanai.

We enjoyed a week long stay here with our extended family. It was ver comfortable, a lovely, quiet atmosphere and convenient walk to the pool. We loved the proximity to the beach club. It is a drive to get to Kailua-Kona, but worth it.

Family and I had a wonderful time! Place was everything as promoted! Enjoyed many meals on the patio. Amazed with the huge variety of kitchen utensils, and cooking items. Highly recommend for a relaxing visit!! Small suggestion- larger TV in master, streaming channels on one other TV and a potato masher :)

This was a perfect location. The unit was just as indicated. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked with plenty of dishes, pots and pans, spices, etc. The toiletries were much appreciated and in larger bottles than we expected. I would highly recommend this place!!

Clean and comfortable condo in a beautiful golf course location, close to the beaches north of Kona. We enjoyed the Mauna Lani beach access for days we didn't want to drive very far. Foodland is close and convenient. Great spring break Hawaii vacation!

Great place to stay. It was as pictured online, clean, and conveniently located. We really appreciated the extra supplies and amenities. We had stopped on the way from the airport to purchase more tissue, laundry detergent, etc. and found we could have skipped that as there was plenty for our week-long stay. We appreciated the blender and well-stocked kitchen as well. Great place and communication with property managers.

We loved our stay at Golf villas at Mauna Lani! Amazing 3 bed 3 full bath semi attached townhouse which is located in a very quiet serene neighborhood set on a golf course. It’s very secure( gated) and very quiet ( Big Island is quiet in general) . The kitchen is super large and has everything you could want or need for making meals. Loved the outdoor BBQ and seating area. Living space is large with a huge sectional. There’s also another TV and sofa above in the mezzanine hall area upstairs. Really liked the small touches such as: Sand toys for kids Beach chairs Boogie boards Board games in living room This townhouse is an END UNIT…..tonnes of light. It’s also a very close drive to Fairmont Orchid beach( 3-4 mins) which is amazing for young children as it’s a lagoon. One thing to note: Hawaii is crazy expensive for food/groceries. Do not do all your shopping nearby as a loaf of sliced bread ranges from $6-11! We shopped at both Costco and Safeway in Kona beforehand. I would definitely stay here again.

We loved staying at the Golf Villas at Mauna Lani. The setting is tranquil, impeccable, safe, and quiet. The pool is gorgeous and having access to the Beach Club was key! We would definitely recommend this property! Mahalo for a wonderful vacation!!!

This property has a 2-twin bed bedroom and bathroom upstairs, and a king and HUGE master bath upstairs with a sitting area and TV (the couches might fold out), then a queen downstairs with a bathroom just outside the door. This was a perfect set-up for my daughter and her husband (king), my 2 grandsons (2 twins) and me (queen) in coming to HI to scatter my husband's ashes. The "hiccup" involved the fact that a number of the venetian blinds (and, most particularly, the one in the queen room!) did not have "strings" to lower the blinds! And, no, we're not dumb - we know how to close venetian blinds :-) So I had to put a blanket on the bottom 1/2 of the window, because my room (on the ground floor) was right by the main walkway, there was a light outside at night, etc. We tried to contact the property manager, but did not hear a response. Also, weirdly, the day after we left, apparently the cleaning crew "met" someone leaving the house. I was texted by the property management company, but it wasn't us (we had left the island the morning before). I'm not quite sure how that happened. Very easy to follow the directions that the property management company sends, also super easy to have a door "combo" versus a key. FWIW, though they say "don't use your GPS", the Waze app found the property with zero problem. Though the property has a couple of the Big Island Revealed books (the "blue book"), there is now an app that isn't enormously expensive (by the same people) that is up to the moment with information. Especially helpful after COVID were some of the locations/restaurants/etc. are closed. Also, the closest beach is great for snorkeling! Go out the gated community gate from the house, then turn LEFT on the main road (right would take you back to the roundabout and out), then LEFT again on the very next road. It's gated too, but just say you're going to the beach. Drive all the way down. Lots of sea life there! A nice touch was that the house had reef-friendly spray SPF spray. Suggest you bring your own shampoo/conditioner as the shampoo they provide isn't particularly plentiful (no worries, just a thought).

We have stayed in the golf villas several times and really enjoy the area. The house is great and is very close to the pool and hot tub area which is great. The patio is wonderful to sit at and enjoy the views. Can’t wait to come back!
