What a fabulous property!

What a fabulous weekender! We were staying for a friends wedding, and even though there were 4 adult couples, the place never felt small, but comfortable and very generous. We all thoroughly enjoyed it and wouldn't hesitate to go back! Thank goodness for the Telstra booster so the boys could get the rugby updates! :) Not far to the creek for a kayak and swim. The views in the morning and at sunset are superb.

Great family stay

Beautiful property, beautiful house. Fabulous family stay with plenty for the kids to do with the game tables, outdoor play equipment, open spaces and wildlife to spot!! House kept beautifully warm by wood fire (electric heaters welcome in bedrooms for back up). Well stocked and appointed kitchen. Tucked away in Kangaroo Valley but close enough to make exploring the region easy. Seamless check in process and clear and prompt communication with owners. Thanks for a great family getaway!!!

Get away from it all in this stylish house

Such a cool house with its eclectic and eco friendly design. And the location was beautiful- with views of the national park and kangaroos hopping past at sunset. We also loved the outdoor fire that we sat around chatting at night and the trampoline and swung were also winnners for the kids.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family had a very pleasant stay at Moosewood over Easter 2021 with great weather and a relaxed atmosphere. We only went out a few times. Once to look around town and a pub meal and most went out for a round of golf but we were happy just resting, playing some board games and lots of table tennis.Moosewood was clean and tidy with a great kitchen. Some proper cupboards in the bedrooms would be nice.Did not see the wombats this time which was disappointing. Land is recovering well after the fires.

Our dogs loved it too. We tried so hard to spot Herbie the Wombat but had no luck. We will definitely be back when the family comes to visit. Lekker rustig!!!!

Quiet, secluded, great spot to explore Kangaroo Valley

We really enjoyed Moosewood, quiet, secluded location, great vistas to the escarpment yet only 10 min to the village. We enjoyed the large open plan layout and bedrooms, great comms and easy checkin from the property manager

Relaxing getaway at Moosewood

We had a relaxing and memorable stay at this beautiful rural getaway! 5 nights here was all that was needed to unwind and reconnect with family after a challenging 2020. This property had everything we needed and more. Our teenagers were still able connect with their friends with the good quality wifi and enjoy listening to their music on the Bluetooth / airplay enabled surround sound speakers (which by the way are both inside and outside the house). We enjoyed the fire pit, bbq, walking tracks, beautiful sunrises (and sunsets) and watching the kangaroos jumping around near the house and surrounding property. Overall, recommend staying here if you would like to reconnect with your family and just unwind and relax. Finally, kayaking hire and plenty of swimming water holes are a short drive away which we enjoyed. Did I mention the Piano, table tennis and full sized Foosball? Looking forward to coming back soon!

We had such a lovely time at Moosewood. The home is amazingly spacious and well supplied. We saw all manner of wildlife (echidna, wombats, so many kangaroos!) on our walks and travels around the property.

We had everything we needed right there

We had such a nice, relaxing long weekend at Moosewood with the family for my birthday. We hardly left the house as we had everything we needed right there. Loved the indoor fireplace which kept the house nice and warm and the outdoor firepit was a hit with the kids for toasting marshmallows. We loved going for bush walks and kangaroo and wombat spotting! And had so much fun playing table tennis, Foosball, playing cards and board games and just relaxing and eating drinking with the family. We cant wait to come back!
