The house is their primary residence and definitely looks lived in. It wasn’t dirty but it was not clean. The downstairs toilet was not working during our stay. It was not a huge deal because there was another bathroom upstairs. There was only one TV in the house and that was in the basement. It makes it a little bit difficult when you are with children or a family. We did see the complaints about the cameras in the common spaces and inquired about them and they did take them out before our stay. So we were happy to hear that. It wasn’t terrible, but I probably wouldn’t stay there again.

Fully stocked kitchen and overall clean home to stay in for our short stop through KC. Easy check-in process and gracious hosts allowed us to check-in early which was hugely helpful.

It was a little discomforting at first with the cameras, but it’s understandable since this is their primary residence. I got used to it. Overall the house had everything I needed and they allowed me to park in the garage during storms, which was nice. I spent most of my time in the basement or the kitchen, overall I would recommend this place.

They were very communicative and made our stay easy which is nice! House was as advertised and in an area close to some good bar food, i.e. Martin City Brewery, Tanners, Barrio.

Check in fine, price very fair. If I had read the reviews and saw cameras i would not have booked (maybe advise in the listing). Bedroom upstairs and one in basement difficult with wife and young daughter (this would also help in listing). Bathroom walls were not clean, tooth paste splatters very common. There was also only one set of bath towels and rags for each person - more would be useful for 3 people during 3 night stay.

nice big house

we did like this house. we had no issues although we wouldn't stay here again. Having surveillance cameras all through the house was very weird to us. they did tell us in advance that cameras were in the house, but once we got into the house, we did not like it at all.

It was OKAY

The stay was just okay. I had read some other reviews that complained about the cleanliness. They weren’t wrong. It looks clean but it doesn’t feel clean. Especially the main bathroom. There is an unpleasant smell in there that’s very strong. I saw there were air fresheners positioned behind the toilet. The smell was very off putting. The communication with the host was really great up until the day before we arrived. I got a message saying we needed to be out by 10 instead of 12 because they needed to clean for the next guest. Now they did allow us to check in 2 hours early but we ended up checking in only one hour early. Also, the house was not surface clean. I can’t imagine they’d need 8 hours to clean up after my grown daughter and I who barely even used the place & left it how we found it. So that put a damper in our plans the next day having to be out even earlier after a concert. Also there are no fans in the rooms. There was a fan downstairs in the room but it screeched really loud so I couldn’t use it. So it felt warm in both rooms. Hard to sleep. The neighborhood is nice. Not much around but felt safe. So overall it was just okay. Cute house but you can hear everything through the walls and floorboards.

Came into town for the Taylor Swift concert - my friends and I enjoyed having a nice place in a nice neighborhood that was close to the stadium!

The counters had a thick layer of dust on it. The bathroom door in the basement didn’t close and the toilet down there didn’t flush properly or really at all so the kids had to come upstairs just to use the bathroom.

Great Find and Price

Great neighborhood in quiet subdivision. Communication with owner/manager was probably the best I've experienced. Very quick responses. Overall very happy with stay. Would book again.
