  • BRAND NEW Guesthouse! This woodsy retreat is nestled in on 20 acres of timber. Comes fully furnished with 2 queen heavenly beds, extra roll away if needed, towels, linens, kitchen wares, to make you feel right at home. Cozy front porch w/ BBQ grill, privacy shades, hanging hammock swings and outdoor sofa. Full length mirror and lighting for those formal occasions, desk with 2 monitors for the executive stay, and a poker table for the card lover. 10 min to the airport or 5 min to Smithville Lake

Perfect Getaway

The cabin was a perfect spot for a weekend getaway! Easy drive into KC for some great BBQ, and we enjoyed exploring the Smithville Lake area!

Great stay!

Place was clean, private (felt like you were removed from town, but very close to Smithville downtown and Kansas City), and the owners were fantastic! Definitely somewhere I plan on staying again.

It was a great experience we loved the place.

The property is perfect you feel safe and it’s near the lake near downtown a great location the host where very friendly answered all my questions and just made us feel welcome can’t thank them enough.

You won’t regret it!

The best place we could have stayed for our weekend getaway! It is cozy and quiet, but also just a short drive into the city. We couldn’t have asked for a better place, and the hosts are fantastic! Will definitely plan to go back!

Last Send Off

This place was perfect for a small group of young men to enjoy a little country side with a very well decorated and semi-private place. We really enjoyed staying here for my brother’s bachelor party. Host are super nice as well! Would love to come back again!

Woodsy retreat

It is an amazing stay. The check in process was very easy. It was close to the wedding venue White Iron Ridge that we had a wedding at. It was well stocked and the view in the morning was nice. It was a pleasant space for our family.

Perfect Place

You will not be disappointed in staying in this cozy and relaxing House. Such a beautiful location and so peaceful. The owners are always available with any questions you have and so nice. This is an absolute perfect place to get away from it all and the town of Smithville has so many fun shops and a beautiful winery close by.

Relaxing home after eventful days

We had a great time staying here for a family of five! It was so nice to come back to this home after an eventful day (worlds of fun and nascar race) and relax in this cozy setup. It was also very close to local restaurants in Smithville and just a bit further for the KC area. We would definitely come back for another stay next time we visit.

Weekend getaway

My husband and I wanted a quick little, quiet getaway. This was a perfect little place. Such a quant and fun little place in a wooded setting. Super close to all town amenities. We’ll definitely be back!!

Perfect location for our Christmas get together!

Everything was fine, host very helpful via texts! Loved the cozy, cabin like decor, very comfortable and loved the Chiefs and Royals wall decor and the neat Chiefs logos on cool bar/island!

When the house exceeds expectations

The place is fantastic cozy and tucked away near the city but still makes you feel like your in the country. If i had any critiques i would say a couple lamps in the top loft, and the shower was finicky with hot water. Aside from that a great place to stay if your looking to get away

Our review

We found this place perfect for our weekend trip. It had all the things we needed to stay. The kids loved the hammock swing chairs. It also was very clean and had very resonable but few dos and don'ts. Will consider this location when we come back.
